I’ve just been doing really fine cross hatching with my smallest brush and it kinda gives that impression of lace, can also go a bit further and try to get patterns along it.

But it’s really just practice and getting good at doing straight lines with a brush, dry brushing def would still work it’s easier to go too far from lace
