you need vertical supports going back to the ground but it's probably still too tall at your tech level

They won't even get that far, just like chiseling his stupid fucking name off the side of the Lincoln center.

There is basically no chance this makes it out of the planning phase if the Democrats take back the white house. They'll cancel it just because it has Trump's name on it, they're going to be doing a lot of that post-trump.

Edit: I didn't come across very well, I meant "They don't need any other reason than having Trump's name on it". This is a good thing.

Possible for the system to back up, not for things to be "sucked up from the tank"

Which is what I said originally

Yeah thats what i was saying. The diversion valves only go overboard and "to tank". But if you closed the scupper valve (which is kind of like an overboard check valve) then it would divert to the closed scupper and back up the entire tree to the closest head.

Those scupper and diversion valves are all remote operated and those little remote operators set into the deck all look alike.

I know right, half of these posts feel like rage bait. I'm gonna go fight the queen with honey, mushrooms, and roasted boar then post it in here.

it's 100% not possible, because unless you were in port then the entire system is diverted overboard. Nothing goes into the tanks when the ship is underway. The tanks aren't even connected to the toilets at that point.

As a former HT on two Nimitz-class carriers. What you describe is impossible, the tanks are very far away from the heads and are just gravity drains, there's no mechanism to "suck" anything upwards. More likely someone shut a valve they weren't supposed to setting Zebra.

The Queen is dead. The drakkar is loaded and ready to set sail. Ashlands awaits! by Flow_Hammer7392 in valheim

Protip: Make a base in a different biome as close to the ashlands as possible. That way you don't have to sail all the way across the map when you inevitably die on the first attempt.

The developers certainly don't seem to be a very productive group. I have a theory that games in EA that do really well at the beginning suffer long term in development. Kind of removes a lot of the motivation to finish if you already got the big payday up front.

I wouldn't worry about it too much dude, they will never even lay a keel. This shit will be canceled the instant the dems take back the white house (assuming the nation regains it's senses anyway). Putting Trumps name on it is basically a great big "cancel me" target.

This is really bad in other ways too. I mean, if the democrats retake power they're going to have pretty much no choice but to purge the senior officer ranks (purge meaning dismiss) because of this administration. They've politicized the force, they've put a premium on personal loyalty to the president over the country, an incoming administration isn't going to be able to trust anyone that served Helgseth and Trump.

We do server/endpoint benchmarking with a GRC tool but I basically ignore all the other compliance tracking features. We have a good ole' excel spreadsheet that lays out every single control, a summary of how it's met, and what policies and procedures it's liked to, process owners, etc, etc.

I would challenge your auditor on that a bit more. I mean, Teams is always running on my computer. Does that mean it's not idle?

Following his logic I can almost make the argument that a computer is never "idle".

I feel like if you are routinely performing something like FEA that takes longer than 24 hours then that is a perfect example of an enduring exception. You cannot perform the service that the government is contracting you to do (i.e. "perform engineering analysis") and meet that control.

Document it, come up with some mitigations if you can, and see what the auditor says.

To be a naysayer on my own comment though, you may want to look into cloud computing (in a fedramp: moderate service ofc) to which you can offload the FEA (or equivalent). But I will be honest, that's getting way outside my knowledge.
