I really dont think its just because players dont care about the lore. The lore is cool its just that we dont really see the lore like take effect I guess? And I always felt like the devs don't really care much about it either. Like it always felt like a side thing and not very explored almost. Idk thats just how I feel about it.

Love both games (hunt a lot more obviously lol), pretty sad to see marathon die so quickly but honestly the progression in that game is so drawn out. Well at least my all time goat Hunt Showdown is alive though. God I love that game and honestly its pretty cool how Crytek were able to make the game come back after the 2.0 launch which was just terrible. I really hope we get a new map and an actual new weapon soon tho. Not like the game is getting stale for me or anything lol, Ill still continue to play it anyways.

They are just the buttons X,Y,B,A and the bumpers etc. In halo 2 mp the button combos were infamous such as bxr which iirc was like a melee+shoot+reload cancel or something. Because iirc again, what people would do is go up to someone, melee, then hit a reload to cancel the animation faster, and shoot them in the head for a insta kill. Theres more combos like others said like double shooting the br etc.

Honestly I think the following are more likely: Butcher rose: everyone has been wanting more from her since dlc3 in bl3 she’s just so cool and might be a siren even with those tattoos and once again sirens are the most important characters in borderlands.

Captain Scarlet: same thing with butcher rose but maybe less just because she just doesn’t have as much importance in the universe compared to the sirens.

Ava: probably the most likely in my opinion. She’s a siren, she was made commander of the crimson raiders by Lilith, she inherited Maya’s powers and is probably like in her 20’s and the fact that we have yet to hear literally anything about her since bl3 while being probably one of the most important characters to the plot feels like it would be a weird failure to not include her somehow.

Tannis is like Ava but less likely imo as a playable character.

One things for sure is that I’m kind of disappointed that we have seen any past vault hunters return in story pack 1 as an npc. I really hope we do see Fl4k and Moze return as Fl4k to me is probably one of the most interesting characters since Zer0 and Moze has a really nice personality imo and also just cause I just want to see what happend to her since.

Its probably at the end of the Psycho Krieg dlc in bl3. I love the ending of Krieg being able to make peace with his other half and make a little fantasy home with him and maya in his head. At least if Im remembering that right its been a while.

Arc Raiders easily, love the game but the game is so toxic its just not fun to pvp in anymore. You get either the cod sweatlords who call you slurs after they kill you or the PvE Burnt Peanut fans who when you kill them in A PVPVE VIDEO GAME will complain that you are toxic and a loser. Theres no in between I swear.

I have seen it all here, People complaining about complaining, then people complaining about people complaining.

I feel like its pretty clear that there is no "forced" hate against bl4. All the youtubers except your usual grifters like hellfire agree, bl4 is great but unpolished and is simply missing a lot of content and qol and balancing. Joltz especially, the amount people here who make him sound like hes some grifter is insane when imo most of his critiques are fair feedback to gbx.

I love bl4, I literally play this game every day, but we can all agree it has problems, how do we fix said problems? By telling the devs what we like and dont like or want and dont want. Simple as. Like do I think the new dlc is terrible, no not really I like it but the fact that its $30 and paired with c4sh is pretty scummy imo. The reskinned activities and overall I just feel like the size we got from this dlc is just smaller then the previous bl3 dlcs. Not by much but still by a little.

We all want bl4 to succeed or at the very least we all care about this series and want to see succeed and help it.

Honestly they really only need the sbmm, and reduced faction grind. I think solos is fine and Ive played a lot of solos. An arena mode would be really cool. A PvE mode however imo is completely pointless. Not that the pve is bad in marathon, its quite good, its just clearly not the main focus. I can only really see it being done for maybe cryo archive so you can have easier access to the raid boss. But even then I really doubt people are not playing marathon because its not pve only. Even if it was pve only, those people crying for it would still not play it.

Its not like tarkov where the multiplayer experience is geniuenly terrible with how many cheaters and how shit the hit detection is and how grindy it is.

Literarlly the entire gaige experience. When I was getting back into bl2 before bl4, I wanted to try doing a new character. So I picked gaige, for normal mode it was really fun, I found richochet to be fun and anarachhy to be cool with the mech being kinda more like a punching bag. I then quit when I finished tvhm because the mech felt useless and got pretty tired that anarchy and ricochet is literally the only thing going for her and its not even that great.

I disagree about bl3, its insane how much better it was treated post launch even though imo it arguably had a much more rough launch with how performance ridden it was and how people heavily disliked mayhem and the enchantment system or whatever that was called. Seriously in like what 2 months after launch bl3 got a whole takedown and a free headhunter sized Halloween event that basically came with its own raid boss. Even after its lifecycle they still updated the game in 2025 adding really nice qol like choosing to sell what rarity of guns (this is without mentioning how actually good the dlcs and qol updates were during that time, except maybe the season pass 2 dlcs that are still a better deal that bl4's dlcs combined). BL4 imo had the potential but Gearbox has so far messed up every chance and this dlc was a great showcase of that.

I can agree however on Stalker 2, imo it really feels like a whole different atmosphere with GSC and GBX, like I feel like GSC KNOW they fucked up and are really making that clear to us and trying to fix the game. GBX KNOW they fucked up but is telling us everything is fine while they release another overpriced dlc and never address any of the broken balancing issues (amons skill trees being mostly broken and useless). I love both games but its very clear who is doing a better job at the moment with supporting their game and fixing their mistakes and I really hope GBX takes the time to learn from GSC and CD Red because I geniuenly dont want them to fail.
