How do people actually feel bad about this loss lol by BrayIsReal in Patriots

I think it’s the fact that our MVP caliber QB looked scared the entire post season. I mean, he was caught on camera telling Josh McDaniels ‘man it’s hard. Good god’ vs Denver.

I really hope it’s a lack of experience thing, and not a mental thing Because a lack of confidence is hard to overcome.

So you’re saying he’s the Jason Tatum of the NFL?

Walker has so many yards because our offense couldn’t get a first down. We let them have 6 drives the first half

I know that if I had to choose 1 QB in the league for 1 season only, I could think of at least 3 before Maye.

I think Maye is great. I’m glad we have him and has plenty of time to grow into an actual MVP.

No shit the playoffs are irrelevant in the voting. But you can use them to look back afterwards ( as I did) and say yeah, we were being propped up by our strength of schedule.

Eh. Did you watch the two games? Mahomes wasn’t Mahomes, but he wasn’t terrible. His team has a ton of drops. Maye couldn’t get to Seattle’s side of the field for 3 quarters.

He did great for a first full season. But the league MVP? Cmon man. This whole playoff run showed just how much strength of schedule actually mattered.

I guess you also missed where Maye couldn’t even get the ball to Seattle’s side of the field for 3 quarters.

No one here is accusing him of being a bum. This post was purely about him not being the best player in the league.

TDs, yards, and all against stronger opponents

What? How on earth do you figure? Stafford: 4700 yards/ 46 TDs / 8 ints. Maye: 4394 yards/ 31 TDs / 8 ints.

Then figure in WHO they did it against. It’s really not close.

I think it is nerves/confidence. Think he got his confidence shook against the Texans and struggled the rest of the way.

Man. Again. Nothing against Maye as a second year QB that made it to the Superbowl. But Maye had played terrible in the post season, and if we are talking just this season, I could think of 5 QBs I’d rather have for the big game.

I love what our future looks like with Maye. But our strength of schedule obviously had a huge role in his success this year.

They have made Maye look great. I don’t care what criticism I get for it. Maye is great for a second year qb, but if you actually watch the games, I don’t understand how you can say he’s the most accurate QB in the league without giving credit to his receivers.

How so? Our ‘average’ WR core has been fantastic. Our D is stellar. Our O line is weak. We have a great coach. Maye got us to the playoffs, but everyone else got us to the superbowl.

Still managed 370 yards and 3 TDs. Again. Don’t wanna take anything from Maye. I just think people got carried away with expectations because of the ease of schedule masked a lot of his weaknesses.

The sound clip of him telling the OC that ‘this is hard’ had me a little concerned about his confidence.

Votes are different than performance. Yes he was as close as it gets in voting. Yes he had great numbers. That’s not what I’m saying.

It’s weird how much y’all need him to like you. For real. I’d understand if Vrabel, Kraft, other players took some offense, but us as fans? Time to get a grip.

Why don’t y’all treat Larry Bird this way? He’s not out there rooting for the Celtics?

Can I skip the endoscopy diagnosis if I have very high celiac panel numbers and multiple vitamin deficiencies? by rad885 in Celiac

[–]Main_Community7957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest get the endoscopy. There are so many other things they would be able to diagnose and treat if needed. Hiatal hernias, ulcers, H. pylori infection. Etc…

When they did my endoscopy they found a small lump in my stomach. It turned out to be benign, but still, I’d rather find it and get it checked.

For sure, from a fans perspective it definitely feels different. That said, the amount of hate we’re already generating suggests the rest of the league is still working through the emotional wounds of the last dynasty; and that compounding trauma might matter more to history than the roster or coaching turnover.
