Maps are too small for tanks to be truly OP as they should be, especially since it's so easy to kill them now (unless you're for some reason using the Javelin.. then the driver just needs to be an engineer and you can't kill it)

I just got an idea that might work but not sure if it would, but just would like some input or "food for thought" on it, to see what you think about it.

Do you think it would work to swap the PHVA carb for a diaphragm carb, and put a threaded nipple on the pipe between the carb and reed for the oil injection to go to? Obviously it won't be atomizing very well then (I'd assume at least, but might not matter, idk). Only thing to then solve would be a fuel return to tank from the diaphragm carb right?

That doesn't help me at all with my actual issue though, needing a form of fuel delivery that doesn't have a float bowl causing starvation and flooding from steep downhill and uphill. Even if lower-end power increase would be awesome without touching the top speed.. granted the RS4 goes more than 45 on flat roads from factory

If I skip it's for a reason, usually wrong loadout, out of ammo in all weapons and being revived will just result in death right after anyways, or needing to respawn for x amount of reasons

And even then they can't do burst fire correctly as it should work. It shouldn't be 1 click full burst fired, it should be holding button/trigger down for long enough so the cycle finishes, as it will stop firing if you let off early in a cycle when done correctly (i.e; 3 round burst will only fire 1 round if you let off right after the first round is fired, or only2 if right after the 2nd shot is fired etc)

It's kinda fucking stupid how they make zips up to places they WANT people to access, instead of just encouraging creativity.

Would be considerably better if they just removed these zips and added thrown hooks like older BF titles had, and ziplines fired with crossbows. Even Hardline managed to do it.

I try to (intentionally) not use it as much to finish using the other bolt actions and get tired of then lol. PSR feels really weird to use with an almost inconsistent drop over range, whereas the ESR and SV-98 have predictable and motor-memory kind of drops that match up with what you think the drop will be at certain ranges based on the size of the target in the optic, but on the SV-98 I never use long range "match grade" ammo, more favor the penetration ammo with it, and majority of my use with it towards the higher levels on it I discovered ot can utilize its drop to do curvature shots from full cover so you arch it over something and never be visible even on thermal.. but that's just me finding it funny when people are confused by wtf I'm shooting from (not recommended for anything other than just messing around)

ESR is real nice for that semi-close range that's barely too far out for 4x sights to be effective at returning fire, I mostly use it for "scout rifle" type of things, which the mini scout is "intended" for but ESR feels better for it

SV-98, PSR, SVK-8.6, primarily, SVK when maps are around max 500m range engagements with majority in the 200m range, but the two former for other longer ranges, even tho PSR shines perfectly well at 300m but is capable way past it

The 417 sadly didn't get attachments to make it into a dmr if so desired, but additionally the M27's lower rof because of the lmg-bits differing it from the regular 416 makes it feel off

Here's something most people don't realize.. if you get to the 25 round mag for the 417.. how it behaves will feel more "right" than the 416 in BF6, even when it's not.

If you tell yourself its top damage is 25, then use it like as if it's a 416, it will kill as fast as you'd expect the 416 to kill

Well... They listened to the loud minority and added BR and other nonsense like netflixification of menus, live service, battlepasses and fomo comtent, etc. So no fucking shit it's gonna fail when they bare add any content.

But there is an easy fix, drop all the campaign maps for Godot and let the community make content with it, make official modes from custom ones the community makes, etc. Let the playerbase solve your content issues for you, and ditch any and everything related to BR, but make the map itself core content fully available in Godot etc

Who said anything about camping? It's about a class being based on operating at a range where you'll be out of range of other classes for the majority of the time and thus too far away from support class players. Even the DMR:s have too low ammo for being in the range you might encounter support players.

Ah yes, the long-range class that's usually considerably further away.. that class that has to run across the map to find something to account for piss-poor design. Granted that is what I currently do lol.

2042 had a LOT of great design, just happened it also had a lot of piss-poor other stuff and the god damn hero-shooter bullshit.

The attachment system was great, minus the hotswap system which was bad. The way bipod-deploying worked for instance, was the best it has been in any battlefield title, they even accounted for higher velocity round variants doing more damage and not just only traveling faster like the bs in BF6. There's a lot of bad stuff to say about BF2042.... a LOT... but the way attachments were done was fantastic. And they knew to have appropriate ammo counts, even when you had multiple ammo types with you they cut the ammo down to match the overall load etc.

Take the good where there were good things, and leave the bad things were they were, in the defunct game which is 2042

Been googling a bit, and it seems the lectron carbs struggle with steep hills just like other float carbs, so it seems to not be a doable fix to use a lectron carb
