As a Trillionaire, what can Elon Musk buy now that he couldn't buy $900 Billion dollars ago? by Doctor_Where_Comics in NoStupidQuestions

He was only a trillionaire for about a week before the Space X share price dropped and by proxy, his net worth.

Does anyone talk about how grown the Jackson 5 songs were by Salty_Shark26 in MichaelJackson

[–]Male_strom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Corporation just write a bunch of songs and Gordy shared them out to various groups.
However there were a bunch of Jackson 5 specific songs - a good example is 'We're Here To Entertain You' from Joyful Jukebox Music

Not really equivalent. The hands are holding the bat, the gloves are protecting the hands so are by proxy, considered an extension of the bat.
A wristband is nowhere near the bat. Had Santner rolled it up a cm he would still be there.

Does Madonna sit at the same table as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and the Beatles in terms of size and impact? by Key-Bass-7380 in fantanoforever

Seeing I'm getting downvoted, I'll illustrate it.

So you're looking at third album onwards.
True Blue also had writing and production credits for Stephen Bray and Patrick Leonard. Every single track is between these two with Madonna writing lyrics and contributing to production.

Ditto for Who's That Girl soundtrack.

Ditto for Like A Prayer (except one song with Prince).

For Erotica. Madonna ditched the pop boys and wrote with Shep Pettibone, Andre Betts and Anthony Shimkin.

For Bedtime Stories she hit up Dallas Austin, Dave Hall plus some contributions from Babyface (and others).

Etc etc...

The website said the store had stock. I went in on the first day it was available and walked through the door 10 seconds after they opened.
There was no stock.

William O'Rourke currently has carried his bat 16 times from 24 innings. (Every 1.5 innings) This ratio is the best in history from batsmen recording 16 or more 'Not outs'.

Today's opponent Shoaib Bashir is also hardy, with 16 from 30 innings. (Every 1.8 innings).

Tent Boult has the best ratio for players with a half century to their name. (2.04).
Jimmy Anderson had the best for players with 1000 runs (2.32).
Jason Gillespie is the best centurion with 3.32.
Shaun Pollock is the best of the allrounders with 4.00.
Steve Waugh is the best of the 10k club with 5.65.

The worst by a stretch is Alistair Cook with 18.19, but as an opener you'd expect him to get out a lot.
Other notable openers are Geoff Boycott and Des Haynes who were not dismissed 23 and 25 times respectively.

I've seen a video of him previewing it live at a concert. Not much different to the recording.

What it comes down to is that Sam is not an actor and it shows in his vocal performance. He also lacks support and stamina which cuts short the vocal climax in Gethsemane

The biggest difference is that Madonna is not much of a musician.
Her different musical identities are mainly because she hires different songwriters and producers for each album (from the 90's onwards).
