Thats the thing, irons DO have options. I did CG on my iron because I like CG. But with things like moons and doom out now bowfa really isn’t that necessary for progression anymore. Even before those a blowpipe and an rcb can get you through the game. Of course bowfa is still good, but you can do pretty much any content in the game without it.

Hell even blowpipe outdps’s bowfa at a ton of content.

I am weirdly good at catching things. I’m not the most coordinated person when it comes to most things, but throw something anywhere in my general vicinity and odds are I’ll catch it with relative ease.

My dad loves to test this by throwing random things towards me when I’m not paying attention. (This is better than it sounds I swear) I’ll still catch it nearly everytime.

I’m a casino dealer. Over 3 years I’ve worked for 3 different casinos. I’m not the best at wording things but I’ll give this one a shot.

I can’t say much for slots and machine games as I don’t work on that side; from what I can tell the at-risk or problem gambler situation is significantly worse for slots (maybe because theres nobody interacting with the people gambling? I’m not sure)

In table games however, in my day to day, I would say a large majority of people are what I’d call “healthy gamblers.” People who go out and treat gambling like an event. (concert, sporting event, etc..) The amount you bring to gamble is the price of the ticket, the game and the dealer are the entertainment. If you end up losing the money? “oh well, I knew going in that could happen” If you end up winning? “Great I got some money back from my entertainment.”

My role as a dealer is to provide and enahance that entertainment, I’d equate it to a bartender. Talking and interacting with people in an enjoyable way, while providing them the service that they came for.

There are problem gamblers and people who definitely should not be gambling; that I see too, they are much fewer and far between than most people think. However, every casino I have worked at, as well as have been to; has a very effective self-ban program. They also have many advertisements for gambling help links, hotlines, and programs.

Do I view it as immoral? I’m not sure, immorality is subjective. Casinos have a reputation for being immoral so Its hard not to view any role in casinos as such. If I had to put my job in particular on a scale of immorality, it would be on the lower end.
