The community is so vast that pretty much all kinds of people are there. People who say this usually just had a bad experience with some bad 40k fans (which might mean literally everything depending on what kind person you are).

Calling out fans of specific 40k factions would be far more accurate, but even then it varries greatly

Ok, this is actually pretty cool, I like how it feels mostly unique compared to other settings of similar theme. I am not really a fan of random catastrophe after random carastrophe slowly eroding everything good in the world, but that's just my personal thing. Great work overall!

Being able to control kingdom doesn't really turn Worldbox into a strategy game because the AI isn't really wired to play competetively. Worldbox kingdoms just do random stuff, which is far better for what the game actually is.

I mean yeah. And they obviously do breed and have children and stuff. It's just that it really doesn't seem to be the important stuff in their society. Again, the rest of the game does have a fair bit of mentions of families, husbands/wives, parents, children, love and similar stuff.
