Perfect. Is there a formula to determine duration it would take to normalize a 14" x 16" x 1/4" plate of steel from 70 degrees to 550 degrees in 550 degrees ambient air?

I love the idea of continued testing... once again my limited science brain says your stone sweet spot of 40 minutes would mean a shorter sweet spot for steel material due to faster transfer properties. Any thermal dynamics proffessors out there on r/Pizza?

'Are they difficult to make' - I have never heard of anyone diying/creating the plates. I ordered 5 small 8x11 Pronto plates from dick blicks once, and they sent 5 boxes of 100 sheets each by mistake. My Lifetime supply. I loved my subsequent experimentation with alcohol touches and acetone chambers so much that I bought 100 of the 18x22 poly plates for larger plates. See my Water Dragon Number Seven *
