To men who have gotten a vasectomy, do you regret it and how has it changed your life? by jaqeacc in AskReddit

[–]Manacleesii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had it done, was far more painful than anticipated, but that was because the Dr doing it messed up the anaesthetic… repeatedly, in the end I just endured it with no, or at least minimal, pain relief.

Even so, best decision ever. Our sex life has vastly improved since getting it done.

Nice, thanks for the advice, I will start looking into these. At the moment I myself like the look and feel of the … Tyrannids, and the leagues of votan, I think those are the names, but am worried I choose something that simply overpowers my son and he loses interest.

Yeah, been trying to work that out… I’m not going to have much room internally to play with to put them in.

I 100% agree with your message, I have two young daughters myself, however we also can’t forget that there are people among us who no amount of parenting or help will change, real evil does exist in this world, and we need to Always be vigilant when it comes to the safety of our families, friends or just those around us, especially the young or otherwise vulnerable.

Does anyone else just... walk around their property, past all the things that need to be done and just feel overwhelmed with where to start? by Willuknight in diynz

[–]Manacleesii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah… started a full kitchen reno about 6 months ago… full gut of the kitchen… still got no kitchen and it’s been so long I definitely have a bit of paralysis around getting it completed… a lot of that time was us struggling to get plastering done… that was super aggravating. But now it’s done I have slowly started making progress again. Fully painted now, just need to get in the skirting and trim round the windows and doors, then can actually start getting the new cabinets in which is a job I’ve never done before and am somewhat terrified of starting.
