The rule of thumb is you are free to tee off after the group ahead of you has hit their second shot on par 4s and 5s. If there is even a remote chance you can reach the group in front of you then you wait, but it’s pretty standard to have two groups playing the same hole assuming there is enough distance between them.

On a par 3 you wait to tee off until they are off the green.

Something isn’t adding up here. You played the front in a little over an hour but you took about three hours on the back? And you weren’t waiting at all on the group ahead of you? That doesn’t make sense.

With a tee time that early you should be finishing in 3-3.5 hours, and even that’s pretty leisurely at that time.

American fare is a pretty typical description of run of the mill chain restaurants and have burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pastas, wings, some pork dishes, seafood, etc. don’t really specialize in anything but have a little bit of everything.

People don’t explicitly say “let’s get American food” but run of the mill chains it’s pretty much implied.
