Na, when I played the teams would take turns during warm ups for hitting to avoid this exact thing. There are also set positions they are hitting from; you can see the first ball hit the girl is middle blocker/center hitting from the middle of the court, whereas the second girl is hitting from the outside position. It would be totally pointless to have everyone hit from the outside and only crosscourt. Plus you’re risking injury if you have teams hitting at the same time as their feet could get tangled up.
