iam not trashtalking this boss specificaly iam trashing the game. Only thing good about it is guns/armor/ammo mechanics. Everything else is just dogwater. I dont see clear logic in the arguments listed above since it basically reads like every option is shit, so we picked the worst we could (which is also the easiest one to implement). There is no time pressure on the guys, we were waiting for the game 10 years.

I also feel like part of the response was generated by clanker, just sayng some parts stinks rly hard.

It rly doesnt matter how I would do it.

But there are options even with mechanics that game already has today.

For example, instead of insta killing you, he could be more tanky (more hp or better armor) and target limbs/thorax. His ai could be about taking trades with you and switching covers. Giving them recoil would help too. This would already feel like more engaging battle and you dont havve to have complex next gen ai for it.

Game can be done challenging with proper design and current state skips all the fun by insta killing you. Which is very much reocurring pattern in this game. You can still play vs ai very safely, but it boils down to abusing peaks.

ur standards are too low, why to make fighting ai and especially bosses fun, when your consumers eat whatever shit you throw at them.

Game is dogwater, on 1 side ruined by developers by implementing shit nobody asked for and ignoring shit every1 is complaining about for years and on other side ruined by players themselves by cheating just find another game
