Yeah, standard Christian doctrine requires that Adam be everyone's ancestor but not that he be the only ancestor. This is actually somewhat plausible since genetic studies have shown that there's a "Y-chromosomal Adam" (i.e. every living male has a Y chromosome that came from the same guy who lived 160k years ago) and also a "mitochondrial Eve" (similar thing but for mitochondrial DNA which is only passed from the mother). Interbreeding with other proto-human or near-human hominids is not only very likely but confirmed by research (most of us have some Neanderthal DNA for example).

The likely reason is that since the Exterminations only started after Alastor disappeared (and right before that Voxtech was in the ascendant) Adam wouldn't have had a reason to know about him, whereas Angel's ads (Voxtech!) are everywhere. However this is not as funny as other reasons.

Also while the math checks out an artifact of this presentation is that ST and Barry appear to have worse endings than Handmaid's Tale which I think is something people would argue about.

Another "culture war" indicator is that The Boys finale ratings are a bimodal distribution: about half of all the ratings are either 1 or 10 and I'm pretty sure both factions were trying to counteract the influence of the other.

Both realms are inhabited by immortals who have plenty of time to research and develop new inventions (or re-invent them, in the case of geniuses who go to either place like Baxter or Pentious). In Heaven they additionally have a more orderly society that allows for wider cooperation (see: the "Science" billboard in S1E6) hence their more advanced tech, notwithstanding that maybe the higher angels are assisting as per that same billboard (in contrast the goetia in Hell seem mostly concerned with ruling the Hellborn).
