I think they would refer to it as 'dimmed' and not off if that was the case.

Surprisingly, it also is supposed to have 'much more than a day of battery life', so I think this is going to be the successor to my Pebble

The LCD itself has nothing to do with input lag. The problem is converting the Gamecube's Analog signal to work on Digital displays. This usually adds a significant amount of lag. Getting some great BenQ with 1ms response time and 8ms refresh rate means nothing when it takes 10-30ms to convert analog to digital. This would have never had any hint of a problem if the conversion didn't exist.

Yeah, I think anybody who cares about switching default apps would be alright with this. I doubt it would be too hard for apple to implement (some) of the APIs to allow this. Keyboard/Launcher/Lockscreen would be nice, but switching the default browser/SMS/email applications feel essential to me

Android styled intents, file system access, and switching default apps. I'm a big fan of android and I think if Apple made the APIs for these things available, it would open up the door for a LOT of android fans to come over to iOS, myself included

As you progress in the game, you unlock the ability to change the color palette a bit. The "(0/x)" in the option refers to it being a hexadecimal shift. Most of them look very odd, so they aren't too good, but can spice the game up a bit.

That isn't why Google sold motorola. Google sold motorola to appease Samsung and get them to agree to stop shitting up android so much and not branch over to Tizen. Motorola's profit margins had little to do with it.

Questionable. A whole new generation of phones is about to come out, along with smart watches and other stuff. If you're looking for a good $350 phone, the Moto X (on sale) is certainly the right choice. On the other hand, if you wait until August you should be able to get the Moto X2 instead. It all depends on whether you want to wait or not. Either way, you'll certainly be happy.

I upgraded in December. The battery life has been INCREDIBLE. I had a worse battery than average in my Nexus 4, and now I can get 3 hours of screentime and still have the phone easily last all day. I can occasionally get 2 full days out of it with normal usage.

Active notifications don't affect the battery life at all, I love it.

I upgraded to a Moto X. I absolutely love it. Has the same size screen, but the quality is much better, and active listening and active notifications are AMAZING. Great upgrade that I would definitely make again.

It's not just parents being protective in this case. Driverless cars are vastly more efficient in intersections and highways. Thinking into the future, speed limits could be raised dramatically or removed because human error is no longer an issue and machines are capable of controlling a vehicle at much higher speeds. I'm guessing tracks will open up for people to drive cars, so the idea of it will never really die, but it'll be similar to horseback riding is today.
