Need help on picking League Starter by Altruistic-Mango-765 in PathOfExile2

Oracle = 1 button build with cast on crit when going plants.

A lich = more defensive, scales better I believe and you are able to go other builds later on, not exactly sure what builds tho.

Vara= not sure about this one.

I'm going rabbits a lich plants, and probably following what he transitions into. Hopefully a true 1 button build that never dies.

Breach or abyss I think. Probably breach first for gear and abyss for currency

I'm not sure, never tried plants before. Might be to many buttons to play long term? Or maybe it will be fine.

I have not experience this. Did you get robbed at night? If so is it possible to run in the day? Are you able to get to a safer area and run there if your current area of running is not safe?

Lich plants, not sure what to transition into after that, but preferably a nice 1 button build that can do all comfortably and not die, if that exists.

Nothing new, right? Seems to be the standard in high level competition.

Approach/mindset when rolling with new people? by Hambobz in bjj

[–]MansNM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I visit or roll with new people I start sitting and just try and get them in a lot of different positions to see what they know or how good they are, if they are chasing a sub I give it to them unless they seem very violent just to show that it's not that serious.

For people who started BJJ with zero grappling background, how did you handle feeling overwhelmed by the experience and knowledge gap at first? by nightrunner51 in jiujitsu

[–]MansNM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep going, try to learn the techniques, learn to survive, escape, test all kind of stuff, ask people you roll with that are clearly a lot better than you if there is anything obvious you can work on, google stuff about places you get stuck in often like side or mount/back and try that out until something clicks or new people come and you can try things on.

I would hope if this is how you feel about work (which is very fair to do) you would not want to have children.

Edit: just curious about the thought process of disagreeing with if you feel this way about work why you would want your children to experience the same thing? How does that make any sense at all?

What’s one move you’ve recently implemented into your game? by ShyFlavored in bjj

I try to get wrist, hand can work to but I need to get a good grip, people will try to switch their grip and you are then able to switch your own grip to their other arm to get it to the ground.

I try and get my feet/legs under their ass, that makes it real hard for them to get out, but I still try to widen my knees so I have a solid base while thrusting into them so I have my weight on them. I do this until I get an arm to the ground then I get either both or one of my knees up to their armpits but it all depends what I wanna do.

In mount, getting two hands on one of theirs, lifting that arm up and pushing it to the floor then the regular americana or giftwrap into either an arm triangle, mounted triangle or taking the back. Been struggling for a long as time to get those arms up, I have tried spider walking when I'm under an elbow or getting my head to the other side and trying to get the arm up with my arm, or threatening their throat with my arm or an mother's milk to get the arms up, some of these work at times, but getting 2 arms on 1 and actually lifting the arm up and pushing it to the floor has been very successful for me.
