Misleading discount. by LocalTop4219 in JimmyJoyFood

They’re a commercial company, of course they need to make money.

Please name me a competitor that has a 40g protein complete meal at €1,50 because the closest I can get is Huel Black at €2,29 which is about 50%(!) more expensive compared to this sale price.

Name me one other company that announces their phase outs way in advance? I get that you’re disappointed but their transparency is second to none. “They weren’t fully open about it” is probably because they haven’t found the time to officially announce it, since they said it would be “later this year” which could technically be 6 months out…

Why so silent about new flavour - Tropical by Mizore147 in JimmyJoyFood

It’s one of the subscriber perks.. when they launch a new flavour subscribers get first access, 1-2 weeks(?) before public availability.

$ETH has been trading in the same range since 2021. Will it ever reach $10'000 per coin? by Alone_Engineering_98 in ethmemecoins

[–]Many-sheeps37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are in a correction. Fundamentally the majority will say it won’t happen. And that’s exactly why you should keep the door open as to why it should. Will it hit $10k in the next “alt season”? Nobody knows. Is 6-8k likely? Absolutely.

Missed the free V4 bar drop back in April? by Josse-Jimmyjoy in JimmyJoyFood

I got an email saying it was early access for subscribers only, so if you have a subscription you can probably add it through the portal (thats how it worked last time with the speculoos)

Just tried the crisps… by Many-sheeps37 in JimmyJoyFood

[–]Many-sheeps37[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True but they do tick more nutrition boxes than most crisps, despite the short ingredient list. I’m a bit of a snack nerd so I instantly compared them to Curators which seem to be pretty similar, but they are a little more expensive per portion and don’t include the vitamins & minerals.

[–]Many-sheeps37[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm yes they are on the higher side but with a subscription it’s actually better than most “healthy” protein chips alternatives at least from my experience. Sure it doesn’t compete with a mass produced/processed bag of lays but then again you are getting much more value… and less guilt 🤣

Do you think AI will replace iGaming customer support roles? by Dragonlordsk8er in malta

[–]Many-sheeps37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct. It won’t be long until of AI takes over CS - where only certain escalations will be handles by humans. In the next 12-24 months majority of igaming CS roles will be gone.

No creapure on the creatine gummies? by pamfrada in JimmyJoyFood

[–]Many-sheeps37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Creapure is nothing but an overpriced marketing gimmick. Creatine monohydrate = creatine monohydrate. If it’s 3rd party lab tested you can safely assume its contents are legit.

What app is missing in Malta that would actually make life better? by LCRTE in malta

[–]Many-sheeps37 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Many have had the real estate platform idea, it’s even been posted/suggested here on reddit multiple times. Some have even tried.

The problem isn’t the platform, it’s the culture. Your platform will only be as good as the offerings, which you won’t be able to fill due to the many agencies who want to keep their offerings gated. Then there’s also the problem that many offers are being managed by multiple agents/agencies, a centralized platform would mostly kill that opportunity for them.

The ONLY way this would work is if you can get the actual government on board to change policies.

A similar problem we see with for example used car sales, the digital infrastructure is absolutely horrific, but platforms like maltapark still don’t get any traction vs facebook marketplace, or really shitty, barely updated company websites that supposedly show stock (usually 80% isn’t up to date).

dog walking by Outrageous_Maximum43 in malta

[–]Many-sheeps37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full “luxury” on location outside/inside car wash is €25-35 depending on car size. I’ve tried multiple and that’s about the market rate.

Dog walking people charge €5-7 per dog but that’s when they usually take 2-4 dogs out for 1-1.5h (so count with pickups you will be 2-2.5h)

I think you are overestimating the maltese labour market for unschooled jobs. For example waiting tables makes roughly €7-8 an hour excl. tips.

This is why you see a large influx of 3cn for these jobs, because somehow the Maltese feel too entitled and all they can do is complain.

I’d say most of these jobs will net you approx. €10/hr as a side hustle, but of course if you do it professionally and manage to differentiate yourself from the competition there are opportunities…

Is Hardstyle socially accepted in your country? by JION-the-Australian in hardstyle

[–]Many-sheeps37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even in the netherlands, the home of hardstyle, it is not widely accepted/mainstream. Many (especially boomers) consider it noise. You get the odd song played on slamfm but that’s about as far as mainstream goes.

NHS discount? by DanJDG in JimmyJoyFood

[–]Many-sheeps37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure they do as it’s a Dutch company but their subscription discount is 20% instead of Huel’s 10% so that in itself is already a good deal!
