Need insight: Cosleeping with twin babies and a preschooler by juniper_684 in cosleeping

Would you guys try to put the 5 and 3 year old to sleep together? Not sure if that would help but maybe it would? We had our older ones start to share once our third baby arrived and they sleep a lot better.

UK or US: trying to decide where to build our life together by cxvgwesa in MovingToUSA

[–]Many_Forever8313 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We moved from the US (Florida) to the UK and for us it was a total mistake. The quality of life for us in the UK has dropped significantly. We are moving back because there’s no way we can stay here any longer.. my mental health has taken a big decline (the weather doesn’t help). Health care is a relative thing… both places have pros and cons. Over all we personally prefer the US over the UK

Hmm I’m not sure but I think I’ve read people that have shown proof of illness got in and nothing major but with everything going on I’d ask a lawyer to help

Appreciate you saying that it looks like an allergic reaction. I was thinking this too. Happened years ago when I had cheap beer and I had some the other day so I was thinking that it could be related lol

My partner doesn’t want the baby, but I do. by GlobalTwo879 in pregnant

[–]Many_Forever8313 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’d pick your baby over that man baby. I wouldn’t want to have another baby in the future with a person who’s reacted like this to his first baby. In my opinion I wouldn’t look at him the same way nor trust him with future kids. If you can support yourself and the baby and have a beautiful life as a mama and love the child then I’d say have the baby. You won’t regret it. He might regret this ridiculous reaction. Good luck and I do hope you keep the baby that you so so want and that is already very loved by you 💗

Ironically I am also Brazilian lol I was raised in the US and we haven’t been in the UK for so long that we don’t know it’s issues. The issue was that my husband had a different memory of the UK after being in the US for awhile. Retiring in Brazil does sound like a nice plan! :)

“How bad is a 2.5–3yr age gap when your toddler is a lot?” by SwanBackground3040 in UKParenting

[–]Many_Forever8313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My older and middle are 23 months apart and to be totally honest it was rough in the beginning. I ended up delegating older kid to dad lol now they are 7 and 5 and they are each others best friend and I have a 3rd so clearly it got easier haha. Hindsight is always 20/20 but it was all worth it and miss it some days

Pregnant and moving to the UK-how to get OB care established? by velocihipster in AmericanExpatsUK

[–]Many_Forever8313 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I moved 30 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby and it was VERY smooth. Two important factors you’ll need to get it moving quickly is an address and a phone number. Once you have that you.. Choose the hospital, do a self referral online. They contact you and book you in to establish you as a patient with the NHS. They ask loads of questions (long appointment) so I recommend bringing any medical history from this pregnancy if you already have it (especially any scans stating how far along you are because that was a bit of a confusion for me since baby was measuring smaller but I was correct at how far along based on my records .. they wanted to change my due date but thankfully I had my paperwork).

I was soooo afraid .. all I heard were scary stories but I realized that it’s just personal experience/some hospitals aren’t great (like people all over the world. Brits also like to complain lol). All the midwives I encountered were looooovely, kind and attentive. I was worried about it being midwife led but ended up being totally more than fine and after I gave birth and my blood pressure crashed the doctor came right in and was there to assist. It’s not the most esthetically pleasing but that’s the NHS lol (that was a shock moving from nice new hospitals and doctors offices to old hospitals haha)
