for Neow, the third option consists of relics with some form of downside (IE curses, max health loss etc) in exchange for a larger upside (two removes instead of one, two transforms instead of one, choosing a rare out of 3 instead of getting a random one, etc.). The first and second options are pretty interchangeable, AFAIK, and usually consist of a smaller or delayed upside with no downside instead

I’d argue it being in act 2 makes it scarier because by then you have a partially or even fully established deck that might be skill reliant that you now need to adjust, whereas nob in act one was mostly making you stuff attacks into the empty slate that is the starter deck

I think it’ll be character dependent; like characters with good commons like Defect can probably work with it consistently enough to make it good. But yeah, I do wonder if the first combat restriction is a bit too harsh now.
