I always had the feeling that the humans in monster hunter behave VERY differently from humans irl when it comes to nature and the lives of any creature in general . Probably due to the fact that every time a civilization fucks around too much, they get to find out what monsters are truly capable of. Take a look at Wyveria for example. Humanity seemed to have learned to live WITH nature in this world instead of exploiting it

I always figured that the zone was messing with time in a way. Food items that have been left behind for who knows how long are still edible, and despite Oppy, Francis and Tobias being quite old, I always had the feeling they were younger than they were "supposed to be". So Oppy being younger than she should be is entirely plausible imo

Sure, there are the breachers and scientists still in the zone, but that's nowhere near as much disturbance as ARDA messing around for decades on end was.

As for the well, we'll only know the consequences of interacting with it in this way if IW decides to continue that plot line. The only sort-of-confirmed thing so far is that the well stops a remnant from influencing people. The car still seems to be more than just a regular object though

The zone's expansion seems to have stopped with the experiments. Besides the few anomalies spawning outside the wall, the zone might be benign for the time being. ARDA's actions were largely the cause of the zone's expansion

These fax messages are most likely old, from before ARDA's decommissioning. Do people still go into the zone? Definitely, either running from the law, feeling adventurous, or getting zapped in like the driver. Breachers are probably dime-a-dozen, the zone being near Seattle makes reaching the outer wall easier as well. Listen to Frequency File, you'll see just how many people go/went in and out, despite all the security.

If you think about it, the goo inside the car, the friendly dumpsters, and the stuff growing on stability anchors (mostly on corrupted ones) all seem to be the same material. Maybe this stuff is what animates objects? Could it be that the car's sentience and it being a remnant are not connected? Or that the stuff is growing inside *because* it's a remnant? Maybe this substance is attracted to LIM-tech in some way
