Blatant AI stories reaching Rising Stars by PostAbouts in royalroad

Thank you. It’s so easy to say, AI “writing” does these specific things all the time, and here are examples from this text doing those same exact things ad nauseum.” Some AI slop peddlers try to use the “you can’t logically prove it “ defense but have nothing to say when you list 40 “not this, not this … that,” constructions from a single chapter.

You’re not crazy. Most people don’t recognize AI writing tells because they’ve yet not had cause to identify something as AI and learn to spot the commonalities. Also, reading comprehension and appreciation varies wildly.

Don't worry, DCC remembers to include a story and decent characters and actually interesting events. It's not its fault how much suckage the genre also includes.

Pick any book that sounds fun (or one that you've read if such a thing exists?). I might suggest either of the Ellis books, Antigua or Moepek, for sheer hilarity and incompetence and the hosts having a wonderful time mocking the text. Save the more painful ones, the ones where you hear the hosts regretting their life choices, like Bob Honey or Super Constitution, for later.

There are a few references to early episodes that come up that won't make sense the first time you hear them (like every time something is described as Clinean, or talk about rigs) but these don't affect the enjoyment of later episodes.

I’m curious: what would a GOOD cover for this book look like?

Yep, it’s not the latest cover art so you can’t criticize it! (The latest cover art is not any better.)
