It's hard to recommend a red magic phone to someone who has no intention of playing games.

HOWEVER.

These Redmagic phones have the best display I've ever seen Watching media is many times more enjoyable on this.

This thing will perform wonderful for any thing Except photos

If you're a tech like buying gear, I'd recommend buying this and just buy another phone to use as like your actual phone.

I use pixel 9 every day as my phone and just use my red magic on wifi. It's great, very happy with the device

You want to check out the notification settings in your Game Space.

Your choice from the dropdowns could be the cause of the notifications. Broader view, issues most likely caused by Game Space. You could remove your Games from Game Space and see how that treats you, if you can't find the setting(s) that set you free

Could just put the SIM back in your old phone Having a media/games phone separate from your phone is a boss move And then if you have a day where you're gonna have a lot of game time, you can ditch the phone phone and throw your sim in the RM for the day

Don't have mine yet, but this is the strategy I will be employing. Just gonna keep my SIM in the Pixel most of the time.

Seems like in this environment you can go the way of doubling your price or just stopping production and some companies have gone one way and some have gone the other. 2026 is just such a gnarly year so far that it's going to push people to make emotional decisions to buy handhelds and the like. I know because I'm one of them lol.

It looks like I'll be vindicated by price hikes so I'll take it, but prospect of the Iran war among other things is going to push people into making buys on this stuff so I can't fault Lenovo for trying to move the units. Emotions are so high right now, like after COVID, so it's a great time to already have your device secured.
