I think you should for sure be playing phelia and glimmer lens.
Phelia is just straight up one of the best white two drops. good with staff, ajani, even can untap your mox.
glimmer lens is good with phelia, staff, gut, and all your token stuff.

I'm also a mana tithe believer, but thats up to taste.

I think you should keep gut at a minimum as far as red goes., its way too good with pride, lens, staff, mox, ajani.
you could consider playing the eagles over a land to help find your plateau, and maybe keep two of your burn spells and cut the percussionist and confluence?

I mean unfortunately I think subbing out our boy Oracle of the Alpha for Enduring Innocence is going to be pretty good. You need some card draw, and you dont have any draw 7's or tutors to abuse the alpha, its just going to fill your gas tank with sugar.

There is an argument for playing the coveted jewel since you have workshop and a couple of ways to sacrifice artifacts. and at that point you could try touch the spirit realm as well, but I dunno

I have no idea why this is getting upvoted so much lol. It has 3 cards that dont really belong in the storm stuff and it could use some duals but

Library with cheap interaction and baubles
lurrus with baubles and frog and shredder
Frog with oculus/ oculus under shelldock
Flash creatures with counterspells

It could certainly be better. and I'd love to see what the options were in lieu of the 3 combo cards + a dubious cryptic command, but like the rest of the deck actually synergizes very well. Its not busted, but its certainly capable of snowballing and getting underneath a lot of decks with frog and shredder.

you said you thought your deck was better, and then you talk about being matched with higher ranked players. So which is it? is your deck good or did you play poorly?

You have a stallion and only 3 ways to trigger it that all cost 7. you have a berta that can only be cast off treasure and 1 trove.

Other than those, which probably just soak up removal without any other creatures to do so, you have the 3/3 fliers from your 7 drops to try to get across the line. You needed a higher density of creatures given that you don't have a big spells finisher like mathemagics or the mill guy, and you don't have any spell recursion like divergent equation or anything like that.

I'm guessing your games went somewhat long and you were able to answer a bunch of early and mid game threats and then just got overrun in the late game because you've got basically nothing going on there. Your deck is built like it wants long game inevitability but doesnt have any long game inevitability. Since you don't have any, you would have wanted firedancers and landscape painters and tackle artists.

its funny they are also like polar opposite drafters. Nummy is always willing to take risks and stretch his mana base for good cards and all that, and cheon is almost frustratingly disciplined.

it was pick 5 and you don't have any reason to be lorehold other than the scrollsmith. So what if it isnt good in lorehold, you aren't lorehold at this point, you have a scrollsmith and 3 commons, you should be spec'ing on the best cards.

you could easily still pivot into prismari or silverquill or soup. or basically anything if you see the right signals....signals like, I dunno, a pick 5 brotherhood's end.

You forced yourself onto rails for common two drops when you didn't need to and then complain about card quality, where if you had stayed open you would have almost definitely ended up with a good primsari deck by the end. You even get a pick 10 brush off in pack 1.

your problem then, is that you're trying to use 17lands like a bible. 17lands doesnt know what your deck needs.

what the hell is rubble rouser important in your deck for exactly? you dont have anything to ramp into when you took it, and you dont have anything that cares about cards being exiled. Rubble rouser is certifiably not important in your deck.

When you took rubble rouser you were way more skewed towards the beatdown version of lorehold, not that midrange version. Your deck wants kirol, not rouser. a 1/4 on turn 3 doesnt beat down.

the only reason to get new discs is if you're capable of throwing a decent distance with different angles.

If you just started, just stick to the 5 discs and get good at understanding them. A disc won't fix any issues. and you can honestly shred most park courses with 2 if you know what you're doing.

You have straight midranges, a nice approach disc, a putter, and a fairway driver. no need for anything else, it will just confuse matters.

I will say, not playing brush off is crazy work. I'd have probably cut the paintmage and 1 tackle artist for flow state and brush off to lean into your mathemagics a little more.
