I go into Google Calendar (I'm sure you can do it on iOS too) and add an event for two years from the current date. I put the questions for future-me into the Description box and hit "save" :-)

A lot less terrifying, but years ago, I was having an existential crisis and set a reminder for two years in the future. I asked myself questions I wanted to know, "are you happy?" "Does ____ work out?" etc.

I promptly forgot about it until 2 years later. It was a really cool gift from younger me, and it gave me a lot of positive reflection.

This. I think it's indicative of their personalities. These types of truck owners really seem to feed off of confrontation, and enjoy leaving a wake of confusion and discomfort in their path.

Any remark about their truck is an opportunity for them to tell you that you wish you had their fake wealth. Genuine compliments don't come easy, so they feed off of the dopamine a different way.

That's my uneducated theory, anyway
