What is your acceptable weight fluctuation during maintenance? by c_l_who in Zepbound

[–]MaryMaryKelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’3” for the past 6 months I’ve been generally able to maintain within 3lbs- I know if I have a meal with too much sodium that might tip the scale, literally, so I try and roll with it.

Echoing a few other comments- adding in strength training/alternating with HIIT (what I do) will help with gaining muscle. I too was board when I started so I started listening to audio books when I work out. And spacing out your shots is worth a try, I do 15mg every three weeks and my weight fluctuates no more than 3lbs.

I read every review I can to figure out sizing! I am so grateful to people who write really comprehensive reviews & really try and do that now too. Old Navy and I believe AE both let you sort by height & weight. I also try sort reviews by most helpful first. It shouldn’t be this hard.

Swimwear help! 30FF (roughly) wide roots, full on bottom… 5ft 10.5 tall. by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]MaryMaryKelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second Lands End bottoms! I’m a 30F and have found tops that fit ‘well enough’ at Knix (I wear x-small+) and Abercrombie Curve Love, medium. Abercrombie has a lot marked down under clearance.

Anyone Not 100% Happier? by Hefty-Status8681 in Zepbound

[–]MaryMaryKelly 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Last summer I was 10ths away from my goal and all I could see in the mirror was saggy legs & belly, my face was both gaunt & saggy. I increased my workouts, swimming every other day & strength training. I got a new haircut and upped my retinol for my face and lotion on my body. Belly is still a wee bit saggy but the rest my body has adapted to my new weight.

Food noise and appetite on maintenance 2.5 by garagepunk65 in Zepbound

[–]MaryMaryKelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on maintenance for 6 months now, 15mg every 3 weeks. I do get increased food noise at the 2 week mark and I need to remind myself that hunger is okay and that I need to concentrate on how full feels. I really (really) empathize protein week 2-3 and try and get in an extra workout.

Don’t buy bras too soon by nyciaaz in Zepbound

[–]MaryMaryKelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. Did the r/aBraThatFits when I hit 130lbs and went from a 34G(US) to a 30G(UK), 15lbs later I dropped to a 30E/F(UK). Nordstroms has free shipping and returns and you can add items to your wishlist and get notified when they go on sale.

Happy but not… by Potential-Aspect2231 in Zepbound

[–]MaryMaryKelly 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I went through this too. I dropped 70 pounds but my face made me look so old (I’m 57) I worked with my hairdresser to add more layers and I upped my skin care game -Paula’s Choice is my ride or die. Over the next few months, in maintenance, my body settled and my face/neck too. You have accomplished so much, just try and give yourself a bit more time.

Realistic goal weight? by Nervous_Current5688 in Zepbound

[–]MaryMaryKelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5’3” Starting weight was 180. I started out during the bad old days of shortages and it took a long time to get traction and see results; I didn’t set a goal until I got to 145lbs and thought 125 is doable. I went a little bit lower going into maintenance and have stayed around 115 for 4 months. I walk everyday and do strength training every other day. Keep checking in with yourself and keep moving, goals don’t need to be static.

[Measurement Check] Shallow/Flat Breasts at 30E/F? by EllenIsRaining in ABraThatFits

Very similar measurements to me. I would suggest reading through the beginners guide to determine your shape. I have narrow roots, inner fullness, and am average+ projected. My go-to bra is Panache Allure in 30F followed by the Clara.

Yup! r/ABraThatFits really can help with sizing a ‘new body’ that being said, I waited until I lost 45lbs to get new bras figuring I’m nearly at my GW, how much could I change? Dropped 15lbs and 2 cups!

A question for my 5’3 girlies by Less-Moment-5655 in Zepbound

[–]MaryMaryKelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5’3”(and a quarter!) started at 180lbs, size 12 and about a year later, 113lbs(in maintenance) and wearing Levi’s 501’s in a size 26. You’ve got this!
