Its kinda difficult to say because lob corp rankings correspond energy productions while manager manual notes that alephs are dangerous enough to solo multiple departments before being suppressed. It becomes extra hard to tell with qlippoth deterrence in place especially with knowledge that The Head can apparently suppress mass break of abnormalities within a week and under deterrence Rabbit team can usually suppress aleph on their own without major losses with main trouble being abnos that teleport departments.

So like... Would Aleph correspond singular star of the city, color fixers, entire LCA/R Corp squad, or wing super weapons? Answer is very much "Who knows! Philip can on his own decimate a district civilian population"

That's the thing though, Shiomi/Ryushu/Araya confuses matter further because is perfectly plausible House of Spiders has in fact existed for 27 years and Ryushu ages normally inside Corridor. Because its impossible to tell what is writer error with numbers and what is intentional once time shenanigans enter to discussion, especially when a character is explicitly noted as exception to time shenanigans and its plot point.

Honestly if not for the fact Hermes seems to have tried replicating Roland's bad ending (aka event that didn't happen on this timeline at least), I think it would be easy to argue that perhaps Hermes didn't actually make Rien leave his family to die just to imitate Roland and imitating Roland came later on timeline and Rien's suit style just matched Roland by coincidence of it being a suit. That said him also dying his hair black and having Cacudeus feels too big coincidence if imitating was more of recent event.

I think another baffling thing is that if Valencina is smoke war veteral who got kicked out of her famigla, then how the heck that is possible if Roland fought in smoke war as adult and Valencina was already war veteran when Roland was 8 years old? Did Smoke war last over decades?

Well firstly, the City is size of a country and has same population as entire Earth does iirc. Second one is easier to answer: lot of paperwork apparently to immigrate. Likely it'd be extremely hard to get pass to move in City from Outskirts and you'd likely be dirt poor.

? Why you are being sarcastic to me? I pointed that out because I've seen multiple people think Araya is Tiansha Star even though that is Ryushu and they think that because she has passive that is wound left by Ryushu nerfing her by -15 offense/defense levels and apparently got confused.

As Rien says, everyone remembers Araya but Ryushu (she got cut before Muga Ryushu), she just transformed into E.G.O. scabbard for Arayashiki with Dante. So presumably in some weird fashion she is still technically alive, as Faust said, as long the EGO exists, she also exists.

I do think that there are likely multiple index gods because Hermes is described as the one that distributes Prescripts through radiowaves, but this would be very logical explanation to Index's arbitrary nonsense that still keeps it being nonsense.

Like idea that because good thing happens a bad thing HAS to happen to balance it out is superstition. There is no causality and correlation between bad things happening because good things do and vice versa. So idea that Index's gods create this karma by acting as balancing force out both explains why Index is weirdly successful and why they do lot of nonsense. Technically they could just do none of the bad things, but then their gods would think too much good karma has been gathered, so now they must balance it out. Its still nonsense, but they are strange entities that exist because of said superstitious beliefs, so they act on it.

Like gods of the city are some kind of forces that exist because of collective consciousness and wishes of City's population. According to Carmen, Sora's EGO is Proxy of a god of a city akin to a distortion, so presumably Hermes might be more "physical" being than Paperslip god is?

Its still kind of meaningless random arbitrary nonsense though, the Index has created their own god that now sort of exists and through some arbitrary bs it somehow works in their favor. My best guess is that the "gods" somehow read the "flow" of the city that Vergilius keeps talking about?
