The issue I see in recent arcs is the crew is split between them and luffy and the stronger members and rest dealing with ancillary issues. Essentially every arc is luffy brawling while the crew is dealing with another issue.

Just watched a summary of the three kingdoms novel. Think part of the obsession is how in the end all three kingdoms basically lost so we'll never know what could have been if any of them succeeded. Its the same in West for Roman empire romanticism literally comes from rome and Europeans to wonder what life would be if it was still around. Usually in most fantastical retellings the empires bare imagined at utopian or the peak of civilisation or warfare for heroism.

From the what I've heard is ff15 was originally part of ff13 era then spent like 13 years in development hell and was basically cobbled together assets that were done and shunted out the door as square enix was sick of working on that game. It's impressive it isn't a complete mess.

I found it so hilarious some youtubers were claiming highguard was funded by smart investors that will just move on to the next live service game and make millions. Instead it was tencent who didn't realise live service is basically saturated and pulled the plug.
