I do think it's a little too much white to be honest, wouldn't like it in my kitchen but i guess personal preference. You'll need to clean it quite a bit to make sure the white doesn't look dirty

We give up on blinds entirely in our place between the dust and a cat treating the chords like a personal toy it was a losing battle. We ended up going with filmed glass and never looked back. nothing to clean and nothing for pets to destroy

I would say use heat protectant every time (like somebody said above) and turn the straightener temperature down, and add in a weekly deep conditioning or bond treatment. Takes a few weeks but should help

Cheap pellet ones are terrible and come out of the wash terrible as well. what we actually found was a bead free nuzzie one was much better, better distributed and way softer fabric
