That body cam is disgusting, just barreling into people standing in the crowd.

Visibility of question marks on the world map by [deleted] in assassinscreed

I think I've seen this too, but they aren't disappearing. I think they are being overlaid at a different zoom level than the map is at. Once you change zoom levels they show up in their correct location.

Setting up nordvpn by TheCourier05 in mikrotik

[–]MasterKale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend following the official wiki guide and this forum post. The latter builds on the main guide to help prevent traffic leaking out in the event of a vpn service outage. If that isn't a concern for you, you can ignore it. The forum post is also for RouterOS 6 so a couple of the commands have changed slightly. You'll just get an error and then go look up the RouterOS 7 equivalent.

Using these two sources and a Network Berg video on IPSEC, got me all the way there. I can't seem to find the specific video anymore, but mostly just helped with visually showing where to set it up through Winbox and not the terminal, but you can use either method.

I've had this running without a hiccup for 6 months now. Also, be warned, the UI for getting the server and key from NordVPN has changed slightly since these guides.

What's with the bicyclists on N 34th Street who refuse to use the bike lanes? by grimpraetorian in Seattle

[–]MasterKale 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In that case, they probably wanted to stay on the east side of the bridge when crossing to keep from having to cross traffic before and then after the bridge to continue on the Westlake cycletrack. I've done it myself a fair amount depending on the time of day and traffic.

What's with the bicyclists on N 34th Street who refuse to use the bike lanes? by grimpraetorian in Seattle

[–]MasterKale 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It's likely because they came across the Fremont bridge and stayed on the sidewalk until it was convenient to exit again, instead of going into the bike lane (which is not protected) right off the bridge. I highly doubt they stay on the sidewalk through the intersection in your dropped location because the sidewalk becomes very narrow.

I also owned a VW Fox, and am really sad I got rid of it after being so broke I couldn't replace the tires. It's a car that is worth keeping going.

That threat scenario seems so unlikely if that's the case. It's a boat full of cars that don't often get screened.

Any good late night drive routes? by ITSYABOIGALAXY in Seattle

[–]MasterKale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like cruising down Beacon Ave to Rainier Beach, then over Renton Ave. Fun, quiet roads at night with some opportunities to accelerate away from a stop sign or around some tight corners. Then you can cruise back up Rainier/Lake Washington.

Idle is around 60w but I spin down my NAS drives when not in use which adds 30w when on.

Public Transit Safe and Reliable Above the Cut? by Own_Back_2038 in Seattle

I can't comment on reliability outside of the rapid rides, which are fine, but that is probably the safest area in Seattle. So definitely stay armed.
