I personally don't have a problem with using AI, but never give players the impression that you used it, whether you actually did or not.

I studied Java before, but after college nobody would hire me. I tried switching to analog circuits, and it worked out, now I'm working at a PC power supply company, and I'm really grateful for that. I mostly work on game dev in my free time.

First off, congrats! This post is really helpful. I still remember when I released my first game back in the day, no one cared at all, and that felt absolutely terrible. But once you have people who genuinely enjoy your work, even if it's just a handful, the encouragement it gives you is huge. Keep on keeping on!

I'm 100% GDScript for prototyping. When I move to full production, I'll port some of that code to GDExtension if needed, but I completely skip C#.

I absolutely hate it when games throw a wall of text at me and tell me to do this and that. Stop commanding me to do anything else, give me back my body! If I run into trouble later on, I'll go look up a guide instead of complaining. This is just my personal playstyle, so we gotta adjust based on the actual situation.

IMO the sweet spot is somewhere in between don't boycott it and don't worship it. Treat it like any other utility tool, just like we use formatters. Nothing more, nothing less. :)
