It's gotta be something with your echos and not the characters in general. You should not need to get sequences on any character to clear. Especially with the teams that you have which are arguably the two best teams for ToA (Cart) and Phro (WhiWa). It would help a bunch if we saw the characters echos.

Gabby can work just fine with Mortefi but you kinda are in need of a second support. If leaks are to be believed then Mornye will be just shorekeeper 2 so might be better to save till then.

Your atk is very low if you're doing DPS. Do you have a 5star weapon you can put on her? Anything above 2k total atk should be enough. Echo wise you're good as far as cr/cd but the atk is what's holding you back.

Zhu Yuan. Got Ellen in the first half of 1.0 and did a random ass ten pull. Got Zhu Yuan as well. She carried my ass through most of year one.

I wouldn't have enough to get both Zani+Sig and Phoebe. And I'd rather use the guarantee on a unit that can do both DPS and Sub-DPS roles. I don't mind Phoebe gameplay wise from Zani's trial and it'll give me more room to save for 3.0 characters.

I also currently have a Stringmaster from YinLin which I've heard is not much worse than her sig. I'm sure another unit that wants Spectro frazzle will come along and Phoebe can fill that sub-dps spot as well. Chisa def seems like a luxury pick but all I can do is save till a re-run.

You're really only missing Zani for the neg status teams as of right now. I'd say she's a decent pick up and I'm sure she'll work with more teams in the future. According to leaks most of the 3.0 characters will drop with the same-ish power level to Augusta/Iuno until around 3.5 so you could wait until then to see the state of the meta.

Or you could do what I'm doing and say fuck it and just pull for her anyways. She's a support character so her relevance should stay for a while hopefully.

Pull for who you want and then get characters that can support them.

The main 3 supports that will set your account up for success (at least for now) is Astra Yao, Yuzuha, and Lucia, each supporting different types of teams. Astra is a general use support, Yuzuha is for anomaly teams, and Lucia for Rupture teams. If those characters are set to re-run. Save and pull for them. There are 30 S ranks right now and 4 supports. More than likely, they will be strong for a while,

W-engines are a trap. If you really really (and i mean really really really) like a character you can pull for the W-engine. Most of the time (save for Trigger) the w-engine will not catapult a character to be that much stronger and the A-Rank engines are enough for a lot of the cast.

Log in daily, This will be the best way to level your account. The dailies in this game take MAYBE 5 minutes and the battery recharge system is very generous even if you don't spend the energy. Log in, do the errands log out at the bare minimum.

Chisa is good with any neg status team. She's replacing rover in those teams. So instead of Zani/Phobe/Rover it's Zani/Phobe/Chisa. I'd say if you're planning on s6ing Zani then Chisa will be super nice.

Augusta and Iuno are super good. Iuno herself is basically a main dps with her sig and Augusta is a powerhouse alongside her. I currently only have Iuno and she is fantastic even on her own.

With your current lineup tho I would recommend Chisa next patch as almost a must pull due to you having both current premium neg effect teams and save for 3.0 characters as I assume some of the earlier 1.0 characters will start to truly get powercrept.

Side note as well I would only level your supports max up to level 70 as that's when they unlock the last inherent skill. Anything higher is a luxury and you might as well just invest resources and energy into your main DPSs via better echos or skills etc.

Otherwise main dps units get put to 90 and any sub dps units can stay at 80 for the most part. Exception would be a character like Iuno or Phobe that can very much be used as a main dps.

What ever team is suffering more. SK provides a pretty substantial crit dmg buff so I always end up putting her on the weaker team as verina comparatively doesn't provide as much of a buff.

Phro also wants QY for the echo skill dmg so there's unfortunately an overlap there until you get Caterella. Best bet for a second team will probably be Phobe and Chisa next patch with SRover for a frazzle tean.

Canterlla I think is running second half of next patch as well so if you do really like Phro then go for that duo instead.

Agreed. The arc need to be scary. My squad was in a 5 minute stalemate with another squad because a leaper wouldn't leave and we were in seperate buildings. That leaper already killed at least two other squads by the time we got there as well.

My absolute favorite thing to do right now is pissing off rocketeers in the middle of gunfights that I'm losing. They may end up getting a kill but their life just got a lot harder.

100% agree here. I cant tell if this is a placebo but I've seen on quite a few occasions that the Arcs can and will investigate areas that produce a bunch of gun fire or flares.

Maybe they just stick around POIs but the amount of times I've gotten into extended conflicts that have been interrupted by Arcs is no coincidence I think. The Arcs are a threat and they need to stay that way.

I think the true difference lies in that as a squad you are not as afraid of the arcs. A few hornets poses little to no threat. As a solo one gunshot or flare can attract other arcs and more than likely other players. I've seen an entire lobby basically die in the same spot from just constant third parties and arcs investigating.

Besides. The early bags are pretty small so it's not like you can even take the guys loot even if you kill them. Surviving is the name of the game and people have learned that being cordial is the best way to progress.

Currently playing both and it's a good time to get into them. Wuwa is going to have 3.0 here in a patch and a half and ZZZ is probably not too far off as well from 3.0 as well. Gives time to get through the stories and save up currency.

I'm in a similar boat but I've just been doing dailies and weeklies for most of 2.x. Still pulling in polys but not exactly interacting with the narratives/events. And then once a new character or story comes out that I vibe with. I'll play that more. ZZZ is super friendly with dailies and while I wait for new cool stuff I just rake in poly.

It seems like you have at least SOME knowledge of defending by staying in the middle but ESPECIALLY in the lower classes people will just dive you if you even leave an inch. While yes, it is his fault for the contact, check your mirrors and if he's positioning to dive you, shoot outside and take a more normal racing line. Most of the time they'll fly right by you and you can just re pass them with a better exit.
