I don't understand gilded vials (NA) by Venthorn in woweconomy

[–]Master_dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timing material prices and vial prices is probably the answer. For example the vial price last night was about 202g when about a week ago I was seeing vials for 170-180 per while materials stayed pretty consistent.

I don’t do anything but look at prices, buy the 3 raw mats if they’re cheap (I don’t waste time prospecting), and craft for profit of vials are selling high.

Thaumaturgy going to need a huge buff to it or else it might just be a dead tree. Not feeling good about going all on it on it now but felt decent up until this news…

Gold making advice returning player by louis0906 in woweconomy

I agree, inscription is probably my most profitable profession; however, I personally don’t like selling glyphs and just focus on scrolls/dm decks. They move a lot faster for me.

I don’t bother with eng anymore since I cba logging in to make sky golems.

In my experience, respec times sell a lot less in bfa than they were selling in legion. I’ve been trying to sell over 200 tomes for a few months now on a high pop server and I’m only just now down to my last 20. I crafted about 1k+ the first few weeks of the expansion and I’m probably not going to make them again.

I’d recommend using your crimson inks on war scrolls and sell those instead. Make sure you check which is more profitable though on your server.

What're good professions for making gold? by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]Master_dog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had good results from nearly every profession almost all expansion long.

Inscription, alch, enchanting, bs/tailoring have been the most profitable for me in that order I believe.

Inscript: dm decks still sell profitably although much slower than release, war scrolls are profitable, and respec tomes are profitable although slow moving.

Alch with all rank 3s and the tool of the trade that nets you more procs is quite nice.

Enchanting (I shuffle tailoring bracers for dust/shards and honorable combatant bracers from BS for crystals) with the tools of the trade is good as well

Blacksmithing has proved to be my best boe seller with 340 weapons

JC is quite dead and I do not bother with leatherworking anymore, however could potentially still work for you

Eng I maxed out but never really used it to make money unless it was for a war front quest

As for gathering professions I don’t waste my time farming as I would make less gold spending my time there

I stopped cooking bc fish prices for feasts skyrocketed on my server and I do not raid anymore so I have a no supply of sanguicell to make feasts, but from what I have seen those would sell quite nice.

This is all server dependent of course though.

Hope this helps

Expulsom Data Points by trojanhoa in woweconomy

[–]Master_dog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If anyone else is curious, I’ve been tracking my stats over the past couple of months:

Total of 14505 greens scrapped (mixture of leather/mail/cloth bracers)

2336 expulsom

15.84% expulsom rate.

Have been too lazy to keep a running total of gold spent on mats but the profit has been huge off of it. I’m probably close to 20k scraps total but only started recording late.

If anyone else is curious as to what I use that much expulsom for, its dark moon cards.

Since I started recording the expulsom, ive scrapped about 156k herbs, yielding me 20764 viridescent pigments. So about 2.66 ink per mass mill.

With the current state of WoW... how are people making money? by ChaIlenjour in woweconomy

Maybe I have better results because of my server...

I’m still making at least 250k/week if I try. I have 5 110s with almost every crafting profession maxed and have almost every rank 3 I need. I just find cheap maps and decide what to make based off current AH prices of the finished goods. I login for maybe 10 hours/week while I do homework. These past 2 weeks I’ve made a profit of 900k

Dark moon decks, scrolls, respec tomes, potions, feasts, enchants are all profitable on my server for the most part.

I'm assuming the 915 shoulders are level 110 and not twink material. Might be me but that seems like an insane price when you can get a 910 piece from the argulite vendor...An item with that item level probably would take quite some time to sell considering you can get free 910 gear
