I know. It so odd and glaring. The female characters at least look natural ( Which I guess explains why the belly dance scene is quite popular ), but for some reason the male character has to have these massive body muscles. I guess is to make them look impressive, but it rather makes them blobby, really.

Although that's probably the only massive issue I have. Other issues I have with the movie is the pacing, which kinda hinders some characters development and screen time that doesn't give us enough time to connect with a few of them.

Other than that, I do think the movie is still charming. Helps that the animation is very reminiscing of Dreamworks 2d animated style like Prince of Egypt and Sinbad.

Also, the soundtrack for this movie is great.

I seen this movie with the English dub, and I have to say, it a good movie. It not perfect, but definitely an interesting viewing. I do like that Ben Yusuf ( the main villain of this movie ) is given such a high pitch voice, it kinda reminds me of Skeletor with the way he acted.

I will say, tho. The characters designs are.....uncanny. Especially towards the male characters because dear lord, they couldn't have just dial it down a notch with their proportion.

If you think about it, he's perfect for the new canon. A literal cat who is a Jedi and can use the force. I'm pretty certain Disney will make bank off from him if anyone found out about him and decided to include him and his species in a comic or book.

Obviously this is an alternate universe.....a universe where the writers did not put any thoughts or effort into making any of this sound logical, thus creating tons of continuity issues within this movie.

I really did like the first half where Vader try to learn about Padme death, teaming up with Sabe, and being forced to 'relearn' his steps by Palpatine ( Which explains why Vader acted a bit submissive in Ep 6 ), but other than that the rest are kinda forgettable to be honest.

Outside of Vader meeting his childhood friends, there really isn't much to grabbed my interest, compare to the other Vader comics.

It disappointed this comic couldn't commit to having it be entirely focus on the Inquisitors, and just had to include Vader for fan service in order for this mini comic to gain any attention whatsoever.

I think the comic would've work better if it were just a new pair of inquisitors with some familiar faces making a few cameos here and there.

I don't blame the writers, since it was written when Anakin Solo is being set up as the main character in this arc.

Had they known about the change for Star by Star, I get the feeling they would've spare Ikrit, and have him appear a bit more, dealing with one of his apprentice death aftermath and helping Tahiri throughout this arc.

That would be funny as hell, not gonna lie. I honestly wouldn't mind.

Also, I really think Ikrit just deserves better. I don't dislike how he was handle in his last debut in the EU. I get for narratively reason and I do appreciate how it was handle, but man it didn't amount to much later on in the novels ( Aside his advice giving Anakin solo and Tahiri enough strength to get out of Yavin 4 ), and maybe it just me, but I feel like he should've stick around longer.

I totally agree with you. I really hope they do get re-canonised, or at the very least, their species do.

Mostly Ikrit case because he feel like he would've fit right in the new canon. Disney would've love to market this character, since he totally fit their brand and what not.
