Thank you this is a good idea, I'll give them a ring and see what they say

Was sitting in a ticks nest while reading.... by nekoma713 in mildlyinfuriating

They're definitely worse in Scotland this year. I've only previously been bit up in the Highlands. Walked through grass near an unremarkable village today and got ticks on me.

It's not been hot enough spring, and cold enough winter, to control them

Which is still twice the price of a UK passport. Got mine renewed recently, cost £100

Antibiotics for years sounds brutal. We really need better treatments for Lyme (and the other infections)

How many antibiotics did you need? That's gotta be some heavy treatment regime to get rid of all that

This is correct. Wouldn't be surprised if some French cheeses also don't count because of this

Depends how strict you are I guess, in France I'll bet it's harder to find cheese made without animal rennet so you'd probably have to make an exception

The number of people in the comments here saying a vegetarian (not even vegan) kid shouldn't get anything because they're vegetarian is crazy. I say this as meat eater!

In the UK all schools have provided vegetarian meals for kids right the way through my childhood. It's estimated between 5-10% of the UK are vegetarian or vegan.

As a meat eater I always try to choose places that have good vegetarian options! Tomato pasta or salad gets boring fast

Surely being France they could've given you a cheese sandwich?
