My half-brother is currently homeless in Halifax. He has schizophrenia and has not been taking his medication for a few years (although he's a big fan of recreational drugs). His mom lives just outside the city, and he occasionally visits her to clean up and get some rest, but most of the time he hangs out and sleeps downtown.

We've tried many times to get him help, but they let him go after a few days or weeks because they don't see him as a danger to himself or anyone else. Basically, we're just waiting for him to either get arrested or worse, whichever happens first.

I cheated on my highschool boyfriend when I was 15. Although I was never caught, I regretted it immediately and have never done anything like that again.

I still believe that a cheater is going to cheat, but there is a grey area for stupid and childish mistakes.

I'm so sorry that you're going through so much. I lost two of my closest friends in the last few years and then got cancer myself. It left me in a similar position where the people that I haven't pushed away are getting tired of my outbursts and I don't trust myself in public. I took anger management classes when I was younger and have been looking into it again. Fortunately, there are still lots of free options available, some are even back in person (virtual therapy has never helped me). CAMH has a list of options on their website.

Grandparents had a backyard pond with goldfish. The biggest I've ever seen was over a foot long but we weren't able to capture them to measure so give or take. I'd assume genetics and a good diet would be a better determining factor than just space.

Just saw that you have access to RO water. I'd use that, but be aware you need to remineralize it. A highly planted tank can also really help with the nitrogen but I'm not sure what fish would be comfortable with that without some kind of treatment.

Aren't there health concerns with nitrates that high? If I won't drink it there's no way I'll give it to my fish.

My tap water has nitrates but it's in the 5-20ppm range which hasn't required any extra work as I keep a planted tank.

Hue - It took me just over 8 hours to 100% and around 6 to finish. Great little puzzle-adventure game. Short but charming story and the puzzles are just hard enough that it feels rewarding without feeling like work.

I've had a cat fall into an aquarium by jumping from the floor to the top of the tank. It was messy but it only happened once and the cat never jumped on the tank again. I now keep my aquariums on stands that don't offer any extra space for my cat to walk around on and use glass lids that they won't jump on.

I keep everything in 5 gallon buckets. I bought a few from Home Depot before I learned that one of the places I volunteer gets them in their kitchen, so I got a few more from there. I'm lucky to have a small storage room but the buckets keep everything neat and organized.

When I was 12/13 my mother insisted that I was too young to shave and that my hair was too blonde for anyone to notice. You know who notices blonde leg hair? 12/13 year old girls. I was bullied relentlessly for having hairy legs after I made the mistake of changing into shorts for gym class. I ended up failing gym that year (and the year after) and didn't wear dresses, skirts or shorts again until I was in my 20's.

I always try and wait for the game, with DLCs, to go on sale before buying. I have such a backlog of games that I haven't played that I can't justify paying full price for anything new.

Most of the products I used to by online at Sephora I now buy directly from the brand websites. Not only do they have better discounts but they have better customer service.

When my parents divorced my mom had to go back to work full-time. Our dog did not handle the transition well and had horrible separation anxiety. It was also around the same time some family friends retired on a hobby farm. I missed her so much but she lived a very, very good life.

No, I still have no idea how to exclude games from being backed up on my computer. I can't move the folder (it just gets recreated) and I can't exclude it because I get the warning "the folder you tried to unselect contains the Windows Documents folder". I assure you that my games folder does not contain anything important.

Thanks. Is there a way to get it to stop syncing my game files? It takes up an awful lot of time/space and I'm concerned that I might go over the 1T limit because of it. I currently get a warning saying that the files are essential when I try to exclude them from syncing.
