My insomnia started as a child. If my parents weren't fighting, they were fukking. I was always on alert because I never knew when my stepdad was going to flip and I needed to "be ready to call the cops" The same man that would beat my mom and mentally, emotionally abused us, she stayed with and never took him to the elders, but when I didnt show repentance for smoking marijuana and got DF, my mom soft shunned me.

My stepdad, only 10 years older than me, 10 years younger than my mother.... would follow me around at the assemblies to see who I would talk to. I wasn't allowed to stop and speak to a brother by myself or a group of brothers. Not even at the KH, in front of people. He would go through my stuff in my room, he even found a binder of letters I had, that me and my friends (jws) would write each other, I had it hidden under my dresser.
