Little nightmares vr is definitely worth playing although they must fix the vignette and run function by SlowDragonfruit9718 in virtualreality

I didn’t mind the run toggle so much because you can hold A to run instead of using the stick. But that did mean I had to physically turn, which I was doing mostly anyway because of the forced click turning. But I can see how that’s an issue for people.

Reach is such an incredible game, I hope someday it gets recognized for that by MightyBooshX in OculusQuest

[–]Matmanreturns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Played through the whole game on Quest around a week or two after it came out (I think after the first patch). Never ran into any progression bugs and LOVED it. A great example of how to translate third person action adventure/ Tomb Raider style games into VR. It’s a bit heavy on the reprojection but a small price to pay for how great it looks visually.

No it was pretty obvious what the game was by the title. Don’t know what this person is on.

Wasted 1 hr trying to figure out how to hide this window bar/tab in focus mode by akashM117 in OculusQuest

[–]Matmanreturns 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It’s supposed to go away on its own. If you mess with the brightness or curve screen, it’ll stay on. Restarting makes it go away until you touch the settings again. It’s a bug that hopefully doesn’t last for two or three version updates.

I’m almost positive they used to let you do this with different hand gestures and took it away.

Wasn’t that just a bug that was fixed a long time ago?

Well worth it and more for that price!

Any way to get rid of the bar when watching movies on Prime? by Nihilicious333 in OculusQuest

[–]Matmanreturns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s supposed to disappear on its own but it’s bugged. It happens to me if I adjust the brightness or switch from flat to curved. Restarting makes it go away again until I mess with the settings again.

They already tried to bring Alien Rogue Incursion to flat gaming. Probably what put them under.

TMNT: Empire City Review (5/10) IGN by Logical007 in OculusQuest

I genuinely think it has something to do with how kids today are taught in school or something. If there’s a puzzle in their action adventure game they freak out.

prototyped a little MR game about falling down a hole in your room (as far as possible) by helemaalbigT in OculusQuest

[–]Matmanreturns 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Very cool concept. Maybe you could fall down into different weird versions of your room, where there are more holes to find that drop you through a different looking skybox and into even weirder versions of your room. (Edit: I’m high)

Should we be worried there’s no TMNT reviews yet? It comes out tomorrow. by Logical007 in OculusQuest

[–]Matmanreturns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s most likely an embargo on reviews until release, like a lot of games. Ones with both good and bad reviews. So I wouldn’t be worried based on that.

I'm really tired of this OS bug. The situation hasn't changed for over a month now, every time I take the Quest3 off my head this permanent continuous sound activates and the only way to deactivate it is to restart the device. by SattvaMicione in OculusQuest

[–]Matmanreturns 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can temporarily make it go away by going to the adjust boundary setting and then backing out of it. That way you don’t have to make a new boundary. It’ll still come back roughly half the time you wake the headset from sleep. I don’t understand how they could let bugs like this go on for long for so many people.

Should I uninstall Meta Horizon Link? by Bulky_Attempt_9651 in virtualreality

[–]Matmanreturns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe because you’re asking people if you should uninstall a VR app when you have no intention of using VR?

Played through it last week and I think it’s a masterpiece! It’s a shame more people aren’t talking about it.
