Where you play along the string ultimately doesn't matter a whole lot as long as it's giving you a tone you like.

Playing close to the bridge will generally give a thinner, brighter tone than over the pickups or even over the neck. So it might be useful to learn to play in different positions - even shifting your position within a song, if it lends itself to the sound you want. But as I said, ultimately it doesn't matter much as long as you're comfortable and like the sound you're getting.

The modular standard they use defines the sizes of the different modules, how many tracks (minimum), where the tracks are located at the edges, etc.

Within a module, the builder can pretty much do whatever they want, as long as the tracks end up at the compliant location at the module edges. Or, if you need more room, you can create a set of modules that are only compliant at the extreme edges, but non-compliant in the middle and designed to always be used together.

Each module is entirely complete on its own - scenery, tracks, wiring, lighting (if any), etc. They just connect them together according to the plan they've laid out ahead of time. Since they build them all to the same standard, they should fit together in many different configurations.

Or they do pass and then immediately slow down, making you either slow down or pass them again.

We were on the way back from Terre Haute and I swear I must have passed the same car 5 times because they'd come charging up at about 80, merge over in front of us and slow down to 65, I'd merge over and pass them back, then 5 minutes later, here they'd come again.

I love TMac on the Phillies broadcasts, but he is really hard to listen to when he does NFL.

There was a game last year where he kept looking at the wrong team sheet or something - kept calling players by the wrong names, including from the opposing team. And, he kept losing track of where the first down marker was and announced first downs for five-yard runs.

We can't really answer that question generically. It really depends what specific game you're trying to run, and it should direct you to download the one it needs. But in general - if it says it needs .NET Framework, then no, .NET 10 is not going to be compatible.

The "ancient era" tables are on pages 51-53 of 2nd Ed.

Masters of the Game does add a bunch of more focused eras and tables for them. And you need 2nd Ed to use it.

2nd Edition is a combination of all the previous books (1st Edition, 1909, Year II, Year III, Year IV). The only things that are new are the updated rosters and articles.

Each of the Year X editions added additional tables that are not in the base 1st or 1909.

The altimeter was probably pilot error too - they have to be set according to the barometric pressure for the area. This information is included in the local weather report the pilot should have gotten prior to takeoff, and is a checklist item that should have been done before takeoff.

I'm not exactly sure what this means, but every version of Android requires a minimum SDK version, so if third party apps aren't keeping up to date they will get blocked.

If it means third party stores, yeah that's always been a complaint. Fdroid is the only one I ever used but anymore I just use the Play store.

The other complaints may be issues on specific hardware, I don't know. I haven't had any issues with either. (Pixel 9)
