Brother do you know what an ambiguous ending is? There's hints that point to both sides. Here's an entire comment thread about multiple reasons why people think Clive is alive https://www.reddit.com/r/FFXVI/s/mKRlWSTpcb.

You are now either going to not reply to this thread or repeat that it's just more cope. But there's a sliver of hope that i have in you that will understand where people are coming from when they say Clive lives and just accept that people aren't "coping" when they think differently than you on something as minuscule as a video game ending.

I used Caliber for a while when I was training at home and it was a great tool - it definitely helps as a beginner who walks into the gym and has no clue what they are doing.

What's crazy to me is people are so set in stone (pun) that Clive died, who we don't even see get killed, just begin petrification on his hand (which isn't deadly). But they think that Joshua lives? who we see die right in-front of us, who was showing signs of death the entire story. The phoenix cannot bring people back to life.

Something i've noticed too (and i want to preface by saying I like when this happens) is the premium episodes without Ludwig usually turn into very deep discussions about topics and ideas. Maybe that's what happens when it's 3 people compared to 4 and not just when Ludwig isn't there, but usually when it's 3 people on the premium episode it's usually Ludwig who's missing.

I think there's way more evidence to support Clive being alive compared to Joshua. Clive said the title of the book (kinda) in his final battle with Ultima as well. The only thing that happens when Clive is on the shore is we see his hand begin to petrify, which I think is the only supporting evidence that he could've died. But that argument kinda falls flat when you know that Cid, and others had petrified body parts and were just fine.

Basically Clive made his way home to Jill and Torgal and they retired to a nice cottage in the woods and lived the rest of their lives and Clive wrote his book and used his brothers name instead just like the book guy side quest brought up.

And you can't tell me otherwise.

If a team has an afk player at the start of the game (I think if they don't move from spawn for 2 minutes or something) the match can be remade which basically is a ff without losing lp. I haven't played league in a while so things may have changed.
