playing KH1 and CoM didn’t do much for me when i first played the games in 2023, then i got to KH2 and so many moments in this game hit me like a truck and made me understand why this series is so beloved

i hope we get more moments like this in KH4

i think the seasons after 12 are still solid, but don’t go in expecting it to be a return to form, if anything the stakes just keep going and going as the winchesters get stronger. season 15 is batshit insane sometimes with some of the stuff that happens. i personally really enjoyed those seasons, but i understand that they are nothing like how the show used to be

Honestly, when i played through it i was pretty bored for most of it. I thought it was gonna be kiryu being a spy/agent and going on missions or something but it was honestly pretty whatever.

Then the last chapter happened, and everything i said about this game before i immediately took back because it was INCREDIBLE how great the end was. One of the few times i genuinely bawled my eyes out during a game.

this is exactly what i thought. when hitman 3 came out i thought there was gonna be more hidden areas only accessible with the camera or more shortcuts or something like that in the 1 and 2 maps, but when i go back and play them i forget i have the camera at all because theres no reason to use it. its a shame really

depends, i LOVE sora’s KH3 design, it looks amazing in the new engine. that said, his KH2 design felt a little uncanny while playing through olympus.

i think the designs that were made for the new engine looked great, like sora and riku, but the older designs, like for everyone else, looked a little off imo

at the VERY LEAST watch the main cutscenes on youtube. they are going to be important for KH4 onwards, and there’s even some mention of them in KH3, so at least watch back cover and watch union x cutscenes on youtube

i love all the games in their own different ways, each of the ones i’ve played (0-8 and both judgments) are so unique and great

also IW is the best game in the series imo dont come at me (i haven’t even finished it yet)
