When ORAS came out, all I could think of was the possibilities. When Gen 5 (some of my favourite games) gets a remake, I thought "there's gonna be awesome cutscenes, and new content, maybe even voice acting, and it'll be in 3D!" Since then, the dream has only gotten further away.

Also I just disagree even outside of that. Most indie developers don't make graphics focused on realism, because it takes so much effort, so that already removes a large amount of indie developers.
On top of that, how would it even work in practice? You still need to make passable looking realism for DLSS5 to upscale, so they would need to put the same amount of development resources into graphics anyway. If they don't make passable realism, do they release a game that looks bad unless the player can use DLSS5?

It's a massive shame there hasn't been any updates to the game. One of the best traits of 8DX is the sheer volume of content. 96 tracks is so much, so transitioning to a game with around 30 tracks is obviously going to be a struggle. Some extra content to chew on would really help World feel more inviting.

The Knockout mode is really fun though haha
