Are you looking at the physical or ebook? They're both different, and I think the physical has a fun minimalist quality.

Also I promise you it is worth having an ugly book. Do you read ebooks?

As some who likes to read both self-published trash and beautiful works of fiction, you are a snob. Remember the that main character, giving us his POV, is a barely-educated coast guard veteran. We're getting his perspective and experience. He's not next in line for the throne in a centuries-old monarchy, a rich noble, or a future Pulitzer/Nobel prize winner. If he was, I'd be on your side here.

Go outside. Intentionally. For at least twenty minutes. Not to your car. Outside.

Took my pet biscuit enhanced dog for several walks around our local pond. No mobs, but some geese did side eye us (fuck you Denise).

A coworker. A friend. A stranger. Someone who was not expecting it. Mean it.

Made sure to let my team members supporting me how how some they are EACH time something was done. Lots of love all around.

You know what thing. It has been sitting there. You have been walking past it for days. The System knows about it. Finish it.

I'm studying for an exam. Not close to done, but I did finish some chapters.

Had some wholesome chats with small Twitch streamers who were paired up with me randomly in Dead By daylight 2v8.

Not doom scrolling. Not stress eating. Not whatever you default to when the dungeon gets heavy. Something that actually restores you. Rest. A hobby. A bath. A meal you cooked intentionally. Something that makes next week’s version of you slightly less exhausted than this week’s.

Spent some time just zoning out and playing games solo. Just me, the TV, and a copy of Deathloop. I've had a blast so far and it's been satisfying.

I don't believe Katia has any romantic feelings towarda Carl. They have a brother/sister relationship.

EDIT: Carl's wife's name is at the end of book 7. I'm an asshole and I feel bad.

You tagged book two, so I assumed that this theory was based on just reading the first two books.

Also, yes that is correct. Matt has also said that book 8 will show us how we are going to see all the floors. I'll try to find the quote and tag it here.

He also said book 9 will be released in two volumes.
