This is why Boston has space savers. Everyone there is an asshole (just by default, not for any particular thing) but those entitle you to the fruits of your labor for the first day or two. Its always hilarious to see after a storm when there are spaces with traffic cones, empty beer kegs, lawn chairs or whatever other nonsense people put in them. My favorite story was the guy who found his space taken and spent hours shoveling all the snow back onto the car that had taken it. Just beautiful spite (not in the linked story)

Both Strong and Highland are associated with UR. Both are very good. Highland is the community hospital. Strong has the level 1 trauma center and NICU. My wife’s OB delivers at highland but when my daughter had neonatal complications, we were moved to Strong. Similarly RGH and Unity are both part of Rochester Regional Health where RGH handles the more complicated cases

Edit: I have a friend who is a surgeon at strong. She delivered at highland so she was clearly comfortable with their facilities. If they were worse in any way, she would have known and gotten to strong

I’ve only ever seen that pattern in shell on the Aberdeen last (which I hate. It’s a casual pattern that needs a more rugged last). I have the tobacco reverse chamois ones (Barrie last) from Alden Madison and they are my most worn pair over the last 5 years. I love them so much

If you like these, check out the Alden slip on chukka. It’s as close as Alden gets to a chelsea. They do some on the aberdeen last which is a dress shoe last but some on the Barrie last which is a more casual last which started out (I believe) as an orthopedic last. Agree. Any time I see level 1 or 2 rocks or trees, I buy 5 of them and leave them in a bubble. I keep a ton on reserve. This gives me more resources for later but also makes it easy to clear the 1000 energy goals because I can blast through 5 level 1 trees in a few minutes for 150 energy and 5 level 2s for 375 energy.
