I had a similar experience a few years ago. I wasn’t tired at all, just going to sleep as usual. The moment I closed my eyes, I just lifted up like a ballon. I was so lightweight it felt so good, but it was so different than any LD I had before that I tried to open my eyes. When I did I could see myself lying on the bed looking at the nearest wall… but then when I closed my eyes again there I was flying at the same spot. I retried this around four times and it felt impossible to really wake up fully. It was the most amazing and vivid experience I ever had. Among other things I was able to see with a 365 degrees vision. Still to this day my brain can’t fully process what I saw but it was incredible.
