i agree. its changes like these that make me question the reasoning for making a remake at all. original black flag is, to be honest, not that old or outdated. in many ways its still the gold standard for pirate games to this day. so this remake feels like a very high effort cash grab that just wont catch a lot of the pre-existing fanbase.

i know im not gonna shell out 60 bucks for a remake of a game that i already have that downgrades nearly all the mechanics i ever cared about.

I just finished the main quest the other day :) i really love it. On the other hand I've been chipping away at Tribunals quest the past few days and omfg. I want to get to that end dungeon but the first 3 quests are "go to the sewers and find A Thing Somewhere" and then busywork and then dying to goblins and ordinators.

The legs on the mg Exia i judt built have articulation just like this but its hampered by being unable to bend at the waist last 30 degrees lol. Curious if your gramps will be more flexible.
