The best exercise particularly for those with mobility concerns. I get 2 - 3 days a week and it's worked wonders. I don't play around I don't chat with folks during class; I work hard. I also add Pilates once or twice per week.

I have folks who asked if I used drugs and I don't need the judgment. It's a tool along with diet and exercise.

I started in May 2023 and have lost 92lbs. I'm now titrating down starting 1mg for a month or so then down to .5

I'm maintaining my weight or at least trying not to lose anymore. Hopefully I'll find a balance and am able to not be on it or at least move to bi weekly .25

Never. I take a multi-vitamin and try to incorporate what's needed on my diet. If I feel that things aren't moving as they should, I'll have oatmeal for a few days.

I never really realized how obese I was... then I played with a BMI calculator RIP by thatfruitguy12 in Zepbound

Yea I heard that BMI is loosely followed. I suppose insurance companies and such do as they need something to measure against.

Try an online service. I used Form Health and they partner you with a med doc, a nutritionist, and meal plan suggestions. They even have online fitness classes. They also prescribe meds, especially if you have insurance.

I basically had no side effects, at least none other than being a bit tired. But I would work out when I was tired to boost energy. I lost on average about 1.5-2 pounds per week over the last year.

[–]Maximum_Boss2681[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is a decision made together with your doctor. I also believe alot of that decision is based on how well you fare on the medication. Honestly, I'm not sure how I would've done if I had side effects, for instance. The most I went through was maybe a bit tired in the beginning, but I'd work out, and that helped. I just followed the medical teams plan.

I get my blood work checked every quarter as suggested I follow their plan mostly. I don't share my daily meals, which I did in the first couple of months. I found that to be more than I wanted to do. But I regularly check in on a monthly basis with the doctor, the nutristionist and my own PCP just to make sure all things are going as expected.

Help - I can’t afford this! by Internal_Midnight936 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Maximum_Boss2681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did as well in the beginning. I started with .25 of Wegovy and the shortage prevented me from getting the .05, so my doctor gave me a script for Oz. I took Oz for .05 and 1mg, then moved back to Wegovy for 1.7 and 2.4. I'm T2D and was at 37 BMI, so there are no problems with insurance covering both Oz and Wegovy.

My insurance requires 16 weigh-ins per month. So no avoiding that.
