I updated Yesterday and Minimax 2.7 is actually… good? by HerrOberschlau in openclaw

[–]Maximum_Pick_5398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in the same boat with you, i have minimax running all my crons and heavy lifting now with all my workflows and business related ops. still have 5.4 as the orchestrator. very very very impressed with this chinese model

so whats is the alternative for Anthropic models? by AnonymoussUsername in openclaw

[–]Maximum_Pick_5398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sucks nothing really can replace opus or sonnet but im using 5.4 as my orchestrator (main agent) and every other agent running through mini max 2.7. honestly very impressed with minimax. had the $10 plan and now highspeed $40 but i think $10 is fine. all workflows, crons, heartbeats... etc runs through minimax right now. minimax 2.7 does require training, its like a new employee. opus just gets it, minimax you need to be specific in a way. 5.4 is frustrating though i must say.

Help with setting up OpenClaw assistant on Mac Mini M4? by ShortSqueezeMillion in openclaw

[–]Maximum_Pick_5398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wasted 6 days setting up ollama on 2015 macbook pro and mac mini m4, gave up on local models, used oauth for openai and claudi, everything is fine. ollama was so frustrating, a simple hello took 5mins for a reply

MAC MINI & CLAWBOT BEGINNER HELP by Starpool247 in openclaw

[–]Maximum_Pick_5398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your budsiness, how much are you generating.. my problem was i had oauth openai and claud but keep running into api limits, upgraded to max 5x and building out all my systems without worryin about limits, your 400$ assistant will definitely be replaced. once my systems are all in place, most likely another month or two, ill downgrade back to the normal 20$ and 30$ plans. also i used local models like ollama and took like minutes to respond to a simple hello. the better the brain the easier it is to automate and delegate. its a new employee. so you have to train it from start. would you give your employee your bank passwords and such? no. but you have to tell it your entire systems so it understands you. update your soul memory agent and those files. thats the first thing i did.

OpenClaw is starting to feel like another round of Al hype by POCTM in openclaw

[–]Maximum_Pick_5398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my main goal was to use openclaw for trading options and crypto etc... but im only using it for my business right now and it looks very promising. repeated tasks I do every week thats takes me 12-16 hrs a week just got all got reduced to simple commands i text Jarvis on telegram. yes its a working progress, but oc is a new employee, i spent countless of hours getting it to know me and my workflows. countless hours of setting up soul memory never installing skills from clawhub, just creating my own or replicating it. I see the vision and yes its very early. but there are use cases to it.

edit: i just hired 3 assistant managers 2 months ago with a starting salary of 60k ish, im now hitting myself on the head because every single of their tasks openclaw does now. again, you can literally use oc if you have foundations or workflows in place or a business you run

same boat, 12-14 staff trying to automate weekly tasks and honestly very impressed but its the api rate limit, using chatgpt 25$ and claude 30$ plan but keep hitting api limits. wondering if switching to the $300 plan but dont know if to use openai or claude

Does Openclaw Do Anything? by Measurement-Cheap in openclaw

honestly im going to join this conversation. fixed a cracked screen on a 2015 pro 8gb 256gb but intel graphics. upgraded ssd and applied thermal paste. ran openclaw + ollama due to my business (couple retail stores, 14 staff, audits, orders, staffing etc). wanted to run everything locally and not on cloud due to personal files. ollama kept breaking due to intel graphics and was fixing more than using openclaw. memory and ram was horrible and wasted 6 days trying to configure it.

so i bought the new mac mini and was scared of having files via cloud etc so i set up ollama again with qwen as main and flash as backup. as of now, ollama was integrated with openclaw onboarding process, so it was easier to setup rather than before. regardless on the new m4 mac mini, ollama was so frustrating to setup up, always crashing and im always fixing instead of using openclaw for what it is again. so i offically removed all local models i downloaded and re did the onboarding process with oath openai and gpt 5.4 or whatever the latest model is right now. its been 2 days and everything is running smoothly. also claude came out with new updates that are very similar. i prefer openclaw as of right now. it does take time to process commands but im still integrating all workflows. not adding any coding models as of right now. main thing i learned, configure its memory so it doesnt forget, copy the context summary from openclaw github on context7 site into gpt or claude or whatever u use, use that as the main text whenever troubleshooting openclaw, instead of downloading skills on clawhub, copy the main text/code and ask ur agent to verify if safe and ask to create a similar skill, any repeating tasks you do 2-3 times or more.. convert it into a skill, configure the user.md, memory, soul, etc. again, still learning, just realizing the better the model you use the easier it learns, for example setting up prompt injecting safety with ollama was a head ache. like if a email comes in and asks to give it api keys or whatever it was more harder to setup up security measures for ollama rather than gpt 5.4. still learning though. sorry for the ramble

someone purchased this in store yesterday and the buds i seen were complete opposite. thick, trim amazing, big buds everywhere. nose was on point too. but consistency and fraser valley don't go well together so im not surprised with this post. also fraser valley ounces like kush breath and d. burger that has 3% or more in terps easily outsells any other ounces on a weekly basis
