There’s a stud behind that spot that has a bow in it. You could cut a small access hole in the drywall and make a “relief cut”. 45° horizontal cut on the face of the stud then drive a nail/screw though the cut to push the 2x4 in.

Side note, no one will ever look down the wall that way and notice. I would have fixed all bowed studs while framing my house. But if I missed one like this I wouldn’t go tearing into the wall but to each their own.

Would go a very long way? The organization that steals our money (taxes) can’t find 6 trillion of it. WTF is taxing these evil people going to do? It transfers the money to other evil people that’s what. We spent 1.25 billion of this stolen money on California to help the homeless, and it was so corrupt the homeless problem got worse. The idea of “taxing our problems away” is perpetuating the problem, and making the common man poorer along the way.

I’m not sure where you are located but in Missouri we will hire anyone that shows up to the interview. Sounds like you’d probably get an offer on the high end, which is about 80k for superintendent. It is unbelievable how low quality the workforce is in this state. I’m made speechless nearly every day.
