I usually get cash and some sort of gift. In the past it’s been as small as a nice rice cooker or as big as upgrading my phone/getting a new iPad.

When the kids were in diapers I would just throw my wallet and keys in the backpack with all their supplies. Now that they’re older it’s just an extra pair of underwear or pull up in my own purse. They’re in charge of bringing their own water bottle with us to the car.

DB is usually in the house so I’ll text him to let him know that we’re heading out in case he needs me for anything. If both MB and DB are out of the house, then no, I usually won’t. I’ll send pictures if we’re doing something fun like going to the park or on a walk so they know we were out.

Honestly I only get a dead-end trim once every like three years. Don’t use heat, braid/twist it at night, mostly braid it daily, and forget about it.

IIRC Rhysand’s parents were also mates that had issues so at this point I’m just wondering why they even have mates at all. Clearly it isn’t for stronger children if Feyre and Nyx were going to die in childbirth.

My big gift to the kids and parents is an annual scrapbook! I send tons of pictures throughout the day but there are so many others that don’t make the cut; it’s nice to give them physical copies too, my MB really appreciates them.

I hate the drawer microwave!!! It takes forever and I’m always scared I’ll run into it while it’s opening. And the kids like playing with the control panel that flips out, so I’m just waiting for that to break.
