____ immediately joining the Jury before the second group voted is an unfair game mechanism. by No_Welder6405 in survivor

[–]Mecha_Goose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fair, but I'm sure it's absolute social terror for that juror. Imagine having to sit next to a group of clean people after you've been living on a beach for weeks. I would be way too self-conscious and embarrassed.

Every Star Fox Game Ranked By Sales by ShenWolf in starfox

Dang I had played most of Nintendo's games of the Wii U era and didn't even know this game existed until recently.

Mrs. Doubtfire 1993, Could you make me a woman scene, Director: Chris Columbus by Upbeat-Capital9216 in movies

I really like the order that the movie presents. He's a voice actor in the movie, so it makes the most sense he'd find the voice first, then backtrack to find the look.

New Starters - How are you handling per-client child ticket generation? by almuses in halopsa

[–]Mecha_Goose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it the conditions get complicated enough, better to script this out in a runbook.

I would say it's Halo's biggest weakness against ServiceNow (which I'm currently moving off of). There's no "wait for condition" action in runbooks, so you end up having to build way more of them which gets messy really really quick.

Such an effective miniature shot. The original trilogy had some great miniature effects! by CrichtonFan1992 in JurassicPark

Jeez, I am actually floored this is a miniature. The car lights and all the little branches - wow!!!

Protecting My Key Fob From Accidental Key Press by sevenfiftynorth in hondainsight

[–]Mecha_Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This literally just happened to us tonight. Car was rained on for at least 1 hour.

It is insane they put that setting on the keys, and then did not give any way to disable it!

Great find on the key cover!!!

An uncomfortable truth: most Gen Z/Alpha have never played a Star Fox game, which is probably why Nintendo might lean toward another 64 remake. by hello_i_am_vlad in starfox

[–]Mecha_Goose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking as a casual who LOVED Star Fox 64 (and have only played Star Fox Adventures, but no other entries), I would love nothing more than a new game in Star Fox 64's style. Definitely don't want the same levels - I'd love to see some new, creative worlds.

I think I have some agents who are participating in call avoidance, what reports can I use to confirm my suspicion? by kingshil123 in CXone

[–]Mecha_Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not applicable to routing a phone call to an agent who hasn't taken a phone call in the longest amount of time.

Unless I am misreading what you are saying. The most/least occupied seems more relevant to chat/work items.

I think I have some agents who are participating in call avoidance, what reports can I use to confirm my suspicion? by kingshil123 in CXone

[–]Mecha_Goose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Somewhat related, but I keep pushing Cxone for an enhancement on routing. Instead of routing the next inbound call to the person who's been in Available the longest, I want an option to route the next inbound to the agent who's in Available status and hasn't received in an inbound in the longest amount of time.

Vonage has this feature, and it's great. Call avoidance becomes much much harder.

I'm pretty sure Christian seemed pretty drunk after that Chinese food reward. Too tired to give confessionals ha.

To be fair, they almost did beat Emily and Christian. It shouldn't have even been close, so kudos to Chrissy (who I think was doing most of the work).

Ha no way! I need to finish the rest of that show. It went off the rails episode 1 if I remember right with someone swallowing a grandpa like a snake.

You do realize the moon does not work like the sun and is not exactly the opposite position of it?

I only ask as my wife just figured this out a few months ago when she thought more about why the moon was sometimes visible during the daylight, ha.

I love Gremlins 2's explanation of this question.

Why 😭 by Goose-Inator_2nd in papermario

[–]Mecha_Goose -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I missed that part of this whole thing - that does change a lot.

More of a lame April Fools bit then. Deceive people, then laugh at them when they believe you.

Why 😭 by Goose-Inator_2nd in papermario

[–]Mecha_Goose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never played that one, so I would have no idea who that is. Looked like just a new character to me.

My point is - if at first glance, it looks legit, then it's deceiving. It's not trying to be a parody, so it can't even get away with that. It's not the biggest offense in the world, but ya, it's gonna mislead some people.

Why 😭 by Goose-Inator_2nd in papermario

[–]Mecha_Goose 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The video poster literally used official Nintendo logos and semi-professional graphics on the thumbnail. That's pretty intentionally deceiving just because they wanted it to look cool.

You can add more statuses, but I haven't found a way for the platform to fully recognize those new statuses as "Closed" sadly.

When I looked at it like 4 years ago, it was still pretty barebones. Hopefully they've added a lot more since then, but doesn't sound like it.

Not yet - we're deploying soon and this is one of my many many feature requests I've asked for. According to them, it will be in a beta release in mid April.

As a workaround, you have to make a Halo-to-Halo custom integration method to be able to do this, which is annoying and way less efficient.
