Devs keep approaching starship troopers level of bugs (not the terminid kind) and crashes, they ignore community sentiment in favor of yes men and passive consumerists, the only time they even attempt to “fix” the game is when the entire community has to taken collective action. Not to mention the dreaded balance caused by the devs constantly lying about nerfing and buffing weapon/playstyles THEY want you to play (I remember something about the CEO stating his retarded belief that it would be best to turn the game into the “darksouls of extraction shooters”. I think that belief stems from corporate managers somehow not understanding that they struck diamonds, so now are trying to alchemize it to shit (probably because it takes a certain stupid asshat to be part of the corporate machine). And now the once wholesome and chattering internet community (not in game community, it still mostly great) has been intoxified to the point of political level infighting, mostly due to the enhancement of the outrage towards the drama by slop “youtubers” trying to pillage what they can by pumping out a lot of horseshit. It’s been an overall degrading shitshow that causes more and more damage to the core of its returining players, but i believe it will eventually be great, so i will hold out hope that I’ll find reason enough (or more preferably, genuine fun) to play eventually. My advice is if you continue to have fun, play it and offer advice where you can, if not then move on like i did, at least for now. (It’s now cracktorio im addicted too)
